The Wet Bandits were this year’s winners at the ever popular Finchingfield Grand Three-Legged Race.
Matthew Wood and Keiron Woolley raced to victory in the challenge which sees punters tour the village’s pubs and twice take a dip in the pond.
Crowds gathered to watch the race, which is now in its fifth year, on bank holiday Monday and enjoy the sunshine.
Event organiser Damon Knight said: “It was very successful, we had a good turnout with 10 pairs running.
“It was equally as successful as previous years and the weather helped.
“We had lots of people there.”
The event rounded off a busy weekend for the village with the flower show being held over the weekend on Monday the historic Guildhall was finally unveiled after years of restoration.
