A grandmother is at the end of her tether after living with two huge holes outside her house for five months.
Disabled Carol Redford, 53, of John Ray Gardens, Black Notley, says she has complained to Anglian Water after the holes were dug in connection with a leaking pipe.
An Anglian Water spokesman said: “We were called to investigate a leak in John Ray Gardens earlier this year and in April our engineers dug two trial holes outside Mrs Redford’s property in an attempt to trace the source of the leak.
“This turned out to be on a private pipe running underneath the garden shed at number eight. However, the pipe itself did not supply number 8 but several neighbouring properties."
