Dogs are being offered free health checks by the charity PDSA.
 

The checks will be taking place in the PDSA PetCheck vehicle which will be stationed at the Chapel Street car park in Halstead on September 3, the River Walk in Patterson Close, Witham, on September 4, the River Walk in Vernon Way, Braintree on September 5 and at the Rayne Station, Flitch Way, Rayne, on September 6.
 

The sessions will take place between 9am - 4pm at each of the locations.
On-board, a PDSA Vet Nurse will examine the weight, body-shape, teeth, eyes, coat and general fitness of canine visitors, and will also offer free advice about how to care for other pets.
 

Microchipping and nail clipping will be available at a low cost.
Please note that dogs must be kept on leads at all times
