Children have been teaching other youngsters life saving skills.

The five to ten-year-olds from the St John Ambulance Witham Badgers group held first aid demonstrations for children their age at Witham Library.

The group, together with youth leader Martin Wood, taught youngsters aged four to ten how to make an emergency phone call, what to do at the scene of an incident, and how to check someone’s airway and treat cuts.
