A school cleaner has been plagued by constant music in her ears for three years.
Susan Root, 63, suffers musical hallucination, also called musical tinnitus, where she hears tunes when none are being played.
According to the British Tinnitus Association, hearing sounds that no-one else can hear is fairly common, but this is usually confined to simple sounds such as buzzing, ringing, or sizzling.
Mrs Root, of Coggeshall, said it is worse at night and is currently taking Diazepam because she is struggling to sleep.
