NOTICE OF SUBMISSION OF ADDENDUM TO AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2011/1824 - NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 22
LOCAL PLANNING AUTHORITY Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, CM7 9HB. APPELLANT Acorn Braintree Ltd. LAND AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT Brook Green Land North And South Of Flitch Way Pods Brook Road Braintree Essex for an Outline planning application dated (received) 11th December 2015 for development comprising up to 1600 dwellings (Class C3) on 32.75ha of land, a 800sqm local centre (Use Classes A1/A2/D1/D2 - no more than 200sqm A1) on 0.29ha of land, a 2.2ha primary school site (Class D1), 0.65ha employment land (Class B1), 12.3ha of public open space, associated highway works with new access via Pods Brook Road and Rayne Road and demolition of nos. 27 and 29 Gilda Terrace, Rayne Road. All matters reserved save access (Planning Application reference 15/01538/OUT) (the “Application”). DETAILS OF ADDENDUM An appeal was submitted by the Appellant on the 5th March 2018 for the refusal of the Application by the Local Planning Authority (Appeal reference APP/Z1510/W/18/3197293) (the “Appeal”). The Appeal will be determined on the basis of a Public Inquiry by the Secretary of the State. The Appellant has revised the proposed location of the primary school and reallocated the original location of the primary school as informal open space. An ES Addendum has been prepared to address this change (the “Addendum”). The Addendum also includes other information previously supplied to the District Council together with other information concerning transportation. In addition a new Non Technical Summary (NTS) is available. INSPECTION OF THE ADDENDUM From 30th July 2018 the Addendum and NTS can be inspected by members of the public online at http://www.brookgreen-online.co.uk/ and by pressing the tab EIA AMENDMENTS. Alternatively, from 30th July 2018 a hard copy is available for public viewing at Braintree District Council Offices at Bocking End, Braintree, CM7 9HB as above until 30th August 2018. OBTAINING COPIES OF THE ADDENDUM Copies of the Addendum and NTS can be requested from Colleen Moon by emailing at the following address email@example.com or in writing at C Moon, Acorn Ltd, 1 Fredrick Place, London N8 8AF. Hard copies of the Addendum and NTS will be available so long as stocks last and will cost between £20 - £60 (depending on the document) to obtain.
