Planning Application Essex County Council Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (As Amended) Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 (As Amended) Notice Under Article 15 Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Tarmac Aggregates Limited for Extraction of 4.0 million tonnes of sand and gravel as an easterly extension to the existing Wivenhoe Quarry, erection of sand and gravel processing plant and ancillary facilities, new vehicular access onto the B1027 Brightlingsea Road, and restoration to agriculture and low-level water-based nature conservation habitats, lowland meadow, woodland planting and hedgerow enhancement using approximately 1.2 million cubic metres of imported inert waste material at Land to the South of Colchester Main Road (known as Sunnymead, Elmstead and Heath Farms), Alresford, Essex, CM7 8DG -ESS/17/18/TEN.

The proposal may affect the setting of The Old Bottle and Glass, the Milestone on Western Verge, Grove Farm, Keelars Farmstead, Keelars Farmhouse, Tenpenny Farmhouse, Fen Farmhouse, all Grade II Listed Buildings; the Remains of St Peter's Church, a Scheduled Monument; and Wivenhoe Park and Garden, a Grade II Registered Park and Garden.

The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Essex Minerals Local Plan Adopted July 2014; and Essex and Southend Waste Local Plan Adopted July 2017; in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.

Footpath 24 Elmstead, 19 Elmstead, 16 Elmstead, 20 Alresford, 2 Alresford and 14 Wivenhoe may be affected by the proposal.

(Notley Road, Black Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Notley Road, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 200m northwest of its junction with Buck Hill for a distance of approximately 400m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th July 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEWAJK5H5W05 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while provision of service works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via St Michaels Road, London Road, Bakers Lane, Buck Hill, Notley Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church End, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this

notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church End, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 136m southwest of its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 132m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034793002 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of a new electricity supply to customer work is undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Water Lane, Church End, Kynaston Road, Shalford Road, Jaspers Green and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kelvedon Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 210m north of its junction with Walden House Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO54811047 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Great Totham Road, The Street, Tiptree Road, Kelvedon Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temple Lane, Silver End) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Temple Lane, Silver End in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Western Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2018 for 2 days (works to take place between 08:00 - 18:00), or where

stated on a valid permit (MG07574750/SJTM4 - O2 (UK)

Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst telecommunication mast maintenance works are undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited. An alternative route is available via Temple Lane, Boars Tye Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Victoria Hill, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Victoria Hill, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 700m north of its junction with Hyde Lane for a distance of approximately 32m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034791626 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement /removal of overhead lines and poles work is undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, The Street, Wethersfield Road, Silver Street, Meadside, Finchingfield Road, Sculpins Lane, Daw Street, Toppesfield Road, Church Hill, The Causeway, The Green, Bridge Street, Green Road, Bardfield Road, Dunmow Road, Bridge End, Crown Street, Brook Street, Mill Road, Hyde Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
