Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Brice Aggregates Limited for Continuation of use of land for mineral extraction and ancillary use without compliance with Conditions 2 (Approved Details); 6 (Plant Site Layout) and 47 (Soil Storage Arrangements) of planning permission ESS/39/14/BTE granted for" Extraction of an estimated 2.5 million tonnes of sand and gravel together with the provision of an new access from Little Braxted Lane; and the installation/construction and operation of primary processing and ancillary facilities comprising washing and bagging plant, silt lagoons, weighbridge, site management office, mess room and maintenance workshop; with restoration to agriculture and water based nature conservation habitats" to enable the re-phasing of the working and restoration of the site, changes in soils bunds configuration and to provide car parking for visitors in the ancillary plant site area at Land at Coleman's Farm Quarry, Witham, Essex, CM8 3EX- ESS/10/18/BTE

(Armond Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Armond Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 96m northwest of its junction with Guithavon Valley for a distance of approximately 20m in a northwesterly direction (10m either side of railway crossing). The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th June 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL134LTN138-32-140518- Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. (Clockhouse Way, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clockhouse Way, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Cressing Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2018 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBTDF6DF03 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while power connection following street cabinet installation works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Clockhouse Way, Cressing Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Notley Road, Black Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Notley Road, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 200m northwest of its junction with Buck Hill for a distance of approximately 400m in a southesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th July 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEWAJK5H5W05 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while provision of service works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via St Michaels Road, London Road, Bakers Lane, Buck Hill, Notley Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hartford End, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hartford End, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 80m north of its junction with Littley Park Lane for a distance of approximately 254m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th June 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034792783 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of electricity pole and infrastructure works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. (Codham Mill Lane, Wethersfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Codham Mill Lane, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Beazley End to its junction with Braintree road, a distance of approximately 1070m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2249782 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Temple Lane, Silver End) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Temple Lane, Silver End in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Western Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2018 for 2 days (works to take place between 08:00 -18:00), or where stated on a
valid permit (MG07574750/SJTM4 - O2 (UK) Limited). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst telecommunication mast maintenance works are undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited. An alternative route is available via Temple Lane, Boars Tye Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kelvedon Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 210m north of its junction with Walden House Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO54811047 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Great Totham Road, The Street, Tiptree Road, Kelvedon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.5) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th June 2018 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks. org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
