Essex County Council (Footpath 26, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 21 November 2018.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 26, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from northern junction with Colchester Road outside property known as Kings House, to southern junction with Colchester Road, a distance of approximately 455 metres. Also close at entrance with Chaffinch Way. The alternative route will be via Colchester Road footway. The closure commenced on 21 May 2016 and is required while construction works for residential development is undertaken. Dated: 18th May 2018

(Tidings Hill, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tidings Hill, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 47m southeast of its junction with Kings Road for a distance of approximately 33m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000699279 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas service works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Kings Road, Trinity Street, Mount Hill, White Horse Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Catley Cross, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Catley Cross, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Sudbury Road to its junction with Oak Road, a distance of approximately 1128m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2249475 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Catley Cross, Sudbury Road, Collins Road, Oak Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Temple Lane to its junction with The Street, a distance of approximately 1700m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2248610 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Temple Lane, Witham Road, Polecat Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 11th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
