(Mill Lane, Stock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Stock in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with Downham Road, a distance of approximately 641m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2018 for 64 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013185251 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on http://www.roadworks.org/. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water mains renewal works are undertaken by Essex and
Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Downham Road, Mill Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Blakes Lane, High Easter & Blakes Lane, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blakes Lane, High Easter in the District of Uttlesford and Blakes Lane, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford from the junction with Blakes Road to the junction with Grange Road, a distance of approximately 605m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2248302 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on http://www.roadworks.org/. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage defect works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Blakes Lane, Grange Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.4) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex CountyCouncil has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Waiting, Loading and Parking Consolidation) Order 2009" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 26th April 2018, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The Ridge, Little Baddow (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Ridge, Little Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 76m north of its junction with Fir Tree Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th May 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000684959 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on http://www.roadworks.org/. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Hatfield Peverel Bypass, The Street, Maldon Road, Hatfield Road, Langford Road, Langford Road Roundabout, Heybridge Approach, Pond Roundabout, Maldon Bypass, Spital Road Roundabout, Spital Road, Wycke Hill, Limebrook Roundabout, Oak Corner, Chelmsford Road, Little Baddow Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Erick Avenue, Broomfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Erick Avenue, Broomfield in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Main Road for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2018 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0132984698A - Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on http://www.roadworks.org/. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service connection to new development works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Heathfield Road, Berwick Avenue, Skerry Rise, Broomfield Road, Main Road, Erick Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
