(Bridleway 24, Heybridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bridleway 24, Heybridge in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 200 metres North West of its junction with Footpath 57, North West for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 2 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are carried out on the Maldon Bypass Gates on behalf of the Environment Agency

The alternative route will be via Bridleway 24, Heybridge, Footpath 53, Maldon, Footpath 57, Heybridge, Footpath 11, Maldon, Footpath 12, Heybridge, Bridleway 24, Heybridge and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 19th February 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Bridleway 24, Stow Maries) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 17th August 2018

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 24, Stow Maries in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Footpath 14, east to its junction with Footpath 15. The alternative route will be via Bridleway 24, Church Lane, Woodham Road, Bridleway 24 and vice versa.

The closure commenced on 17th February 2017 and is required for the safety of the public and workforce due to deterioration of the bridge.

(Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.31) Order 201* Staggered Puffin Crossing - Fullbridge, Maldon

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To revoke 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length The Causeway, Maldon Road Description





The Causeway, SOUTH EAST SIDE: from a point approximately 57 metres north



Maldon east of its junction with Fullbridge/A414/The Causeway roundabout,



south west for a distance of approximately 37 metres.

'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions are being retained on both sides of Unnamed Residential Access Road Adjacent to No.2 The Causeway for its entire length including the turning head following the new road alignment.

2. To introduce 'No Waiting/No Loading at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of roads, in the Town of Maldon in the District of Maldon:



Road Description



The Causeway, SOUTH EAST SIDE: from its junction with Fullbridge/A414/The



Maldon Causeway roundabout, northeast for approximately 8 metres.



New unnamed access road BOTH SIDES: From its junction with The Causeway/Fullbridge/ leading to Black Water A414 Roundabout, eastwards for a distance of approximately



Trading Estate, Maldon 15 metres.



The Causeway/Fullbridge/ SOUTH EAST SIDE: From its junction with The Causeway, A414 Roundabout, Maldon south westwards to its junction with Fullbridge; a distance of approximately 48 metres.

Fullbridge, Maldon EAST SIDE:



i From its junction with The Causeway/Fullbridge/A414 roundabout, south-westwards for a distance of approximately 14 metres.



ii From its junction with Tesco/Fullbridge/Station Road roundabout, north-eastwards for a distance of approximately 10 metres.



A TSRGD Bus Stop is proposed to be installed as part of the scheme on The Causeway, Maldon SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 8 metres northeast from its junction with Fullbridge/A414/The Causeway roundabout, north eastwards for a distance of approximately 49 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile number TL850 075 revision 2 to revision 3.

Notice is also hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Staggered Puffin Crossing on the following length of Fullbridge, Maldon located as follows:-Staggered Puffin Crossing Road Description



Fullbridge, Maldon NORTH EASTERN CARRIAGEWAY: The centre point of the northern

part of the crossing will be located approximately 34 metres north east of Tesco/Fullbridge/Station Road roundabout. SOUTH WESTERN CARRIAGEWAY: The centre point of the southern part of the crossing will be located approximately 28 metres north east of Tesco/Fullbridge/Station Road roundabout.
