Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from A W and G W Day Ltd and Tarset Farms for the construction of an agricultural reservoir involving the extraction, processing and exportation of sand and gravel and soils; the erection and use of an on-site processing plant with ancillary facilities; and highway and access improvements at land at Sheepcotes Farm, Sheepcotes Lane, Little Waltham, Chelmsford, CM3 3LU - ESS/01/18/CHL

The proposed development may not accord with the provision of the Essex Minerals Local Plan (2014) and/ or Chelmsford City Council Core Strategy and Development Control Policies (2008) as amended by the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Focused Review (2013) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated. Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application and other documents submitted with it (including the Environmental Statement) online at www.essex.gov.uk/viewplanning or at Essex County Council at the below address (please call for an appointment on 03330 139808). Section 257 Notice of Confirmation of an Order Public Path Diversion Order 2017 Bridleway 18 Broomfield/37

Springfield in The City Of Chelmsford

The above Confirmed Order will divert a part length of Bridleway 18 Broomfield commencing from a point at Belsted Hall Farm south of the parish boundary with Broomfield and running in a generally southerly direction to the parish boundary where it becomes Bridleway 37 Springfield, and then in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 268 metres to the south end of the pond, then continuing in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 374 metres to where it connects to the highway known as White Hart Lane to a new route, 3 metres in width commencing at the same above point and running in a generally south south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 248 then continuing in an east south easterly direction for a distance of 437 metres to where it connects to Footpath 8 Springfield, south of Old Lodge Farm. The alternative route come into force when it has been certified as ready for public use by Essex County Council, but if a person aggrieved by the above orders wants to question their validity, or that of any provision contained in them, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 16th December to make an application to the High Court.

Notice of Certification of an Order Footpaths 5 And 40 West Hanningfield

Footpaths 5 and 40 at Temple Farm, West Hanningfield, previously confirmed on 1st February, 2016 have now been certified as ready for public use. The paths were diverted under the Town and Country Planning Act to facilitate a new live / work Headquarters at the Temple Farm site for the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain. The new path which has been re-routed around the east of the new construction is 2 metres in width and approximately 1000 metres in length. Creation of a New Footpath Highways Act, 1980. Section 25

Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain has also agreed to the creation of a new Footpath which is also ready for public use. The new route, which provides an east-west link and runs along the field boundary, connects Ship Road in the west to the new route of Footpath 5 in the east. It is 2 metres in width and approximately 557 metres in length. A copy of the Orders and the Order maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford City Council Offices, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford CM1 1JE and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. (New London Road, Chelmsford & Bellmead, Chelmsford & Tindal Street, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (New London Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of Driving) & (Bellmead, Chelmsford) Temporary Suspension of One Way Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of New London Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 110m northeast of its junction with Parkway for a distance of approximately 60m in a northeasterly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Bellmead, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Parkway to its junction with New London Road a distance of approximately 260m.



3. To temporarily close that length of Tindal Street, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford from a point approximately 60m southeast of its junction with Market road to its junction with Bellmead, a distance of approximately 200m.



4. To temporarily suspend the one way on Belmead, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford as stated in 'The Borough of Chelmsford (Bellmead and Lionfield Terrace) (One Way Traffic) Order 1973' for the duration of the closures.



5. To temporarily suspend the prohibition of driving order on New London Road, Chelmsford as stated in 'The Borough of Chelmsford (New London Road and Moulsham Street) (Part)) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2000 for the duration of the closures.



The closures and suspensions are scheduled to commence on 5th March 2018 for 52 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153037277 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Access will be maintained for businesses on New London Road and emergency services. An alternative route is available via Market Road, Victoria Road South, Parkway The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hornells Corner, Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hornells Corner, Little Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 20m east of its junction with Hornells Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February

2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034782613 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying electric cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Felsted Road, School Lane, Dumney Lane, Main Road, Moulsham Hall Lane, Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(North Hill, Little Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of North Hill, Little Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Spring Close for a distance of approximately 42m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000663302 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lay new gas service works are undertaken by Cadent Gas. An alternative route is available via London Road, Hatfield Peverel Bypass, The Street, Maldon Road, Ulting Road, Crouchmans Farm Road, The Causeway, Hoe Mill Road, Rectory Road, Church Hill, Herbage Park Road, Old London Road, Little Baddow Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(White Elm Road, Bicknacre) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of White Elm Road, Bicknacre in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Bicknacre Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2018 for 6 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2241863 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while road marking works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via White Elm Road, Hyde Lane, Maldon Road, Southend Road, Oak Corner, Chelmsford Road, Maldon Road, Mayes Lane, Penny Royal Road, The Common, Bicknacre Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Three Mile Hill, Margaretting) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Three Mile Hill, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford, from Widford Roundabout for a distance of approximately 3245m in a southerly direction (Southbound only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th March 2018 works to be between 21:30 to 05:00) and on 23 March 2018 (works between 21:30 to 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002030 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installing a large pontoon into watercourse is undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via London Road,Princes Road, Van Diemans Road, Essex Yeomanry Way, A12 southbound. The Order will come into effect on 22nd February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
