Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Brice Aggregates Ltd for the change of use of land used for existing as raised stocking capacity and agricultural land at Coleman's Farm ("the application site") to allow for stocking of processed sand and gravel from Coleman's Farm quarry until 1st April 2035. Planning ref: ESS/65/17/BTE.

Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 and 118 Public Path Diversion Order 2018 Footpaths 11,14,15 and 17 Terling Footpaths 63, 64 And 65 Witham In the District of Braintree

The above Orders made on 24th January, 2018 under section 119 and 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public Footpaths 11,14,15 and 17 in the Parish of Terling, divert Footpaths 63 and 65 Witham and extinguish Footpath 64 as not needed for public use as shown on the Order Maps contained in these Orders.

A part length of Footpath 11 Terling starting from grid reference 57466, 21542 on the south side of the River and running in a south easterly direction across the field then a southerly direction and then an easterly direction for a total distance of 394 metres to grid reference 57495,21542 where it connects to Footpath 35 Terling will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing from the same point and running in a north easterly direction along the south side of the river bank for a distance of 335 metres to grid reference 57490,21519 where it connects to Footpath 35 Terling. A part length of Footpath 14 Terling starting from grid reference 57597,21514 and running in a north easterly direction across the field to grid reference 57608,21518 at the south east corner of the woodland known as Wades Spring, then running in an easterly direction to grid reference 57619.21518 before running in a northerly then north easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 354 metres to grid reference 57609, 21521 where it connects with Footpath 17 Terling, will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing from the same point and running in a north, north easterly direction along the east side of the field boundary, to grid reference 57605,21519 on the southern boundary of the woodland known as Wade's Spring, before following the boundary in a south easterly direction before running in a north easterly then north westerly direction around the eastern boundary of Wade's Spring, following the field edge as far as the northernmost corner of Wade's Spring then following the northern boundary of the field and running in a generally easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 501 metres to where it connects with Footpath 17. A part length of Footpath 15 Terling starting from a point north of Copperfields House at grid reference 57613,21500, and running in a north north easterly direction across the field for a distance of approximately 195 metres to where it connects to Footpath 14 will be diverted to a new alternative route starting at the same point and running in a north easterly direction across the field for a distance of approximately 280 metres to where it connects to Footpath 17 Terling. A part length of Footpath 17 Terling starting from grid reference 57621,21533 and running in a generally south south easterly direction then running in a south easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 250 metres to grid reference 57621,21524 will be diverted to a new alternative route beginning at the same point and running in an east north easterly direction for a distance of 65 metres to grid reference 57627,21535 and continuing in a south easterly direction along an existing grass track for a distance of approximately 220 metres to where it continues unaffected. The length of Footpath 63 Witham starting from grid reference 57902,21519 at the northeast corner of the land known as The Grove, east of Peg Millars Lane and running in a south easterly direction across the field for a distance of approximately 228 metres to grid reference 57920,21504 where it becomes Footpath 65 Witham and continues in a south easterly direction for approximately 276 metres to grid reference 57943,21492 where it terminates at the public highway known as Terling Road will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing from the same point and running in an east north easterly direction along the south side of the field boundary for a distance of approximately 263 metres to grid reference 57928,21524 where it continues in a south south easterly direction along the west side of the field boundary for a distance of approximately 640 metres where it connects to the public highway known as Terling Road.

The length of Footpath 64 commencing at grid reference 57920,21504 where it connects at the junction between the footpaths 63 and 65 Witham, and running in a south south easterly direction across the field for a distance of approximately 146 metres to grid reference 57926,21491 then continuing in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 36 metres to grid reference 57929,21492 then continuing in a south south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 35 metres where it meets the public highway known as Terling Road at grid reference 57930,21489 will be extinguished as it will become a dead end path and is therefore not needed for public use. A copy of the Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representation about or objection to an Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 1st March, 2018 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address in your contact information.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order.

Further to the notice published on 25 January 2018, notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following length of Duncombe Close, Haygreen Road and Payne Close, Witham in the District of Braintree: Road Description



Duncombe From its junctions with Haygreen Road, for its entire



Close, Witham length.

Haygreen Road, i. From its junction with the extended western Witham kerbline of Duncombe Close, westwards for a



distance of 153 metres.

ii. From a point in line with the property boundaries of no. 115/116 Haygreen Road in a south-westerly direction for approximately 40 metres (remaining length).



iii. From a point in line with the property boundaries of no. 117/118 Haygreen Road in a north-easterly direction for approximately 54 metres (remaining length).



Payne Close, From its junction with Haygreen Road, for its entire Witham length (description corrected from previous notice).



The Essex County Council (Various roads Maltings Lane Development, Witham) (20MPH Zone) Order 2013 is hereby revoked. The restrictions contained within the aforementioned order shall continue in force by virtue of this new order.

(Footpath 40, Braintree & Bocking) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 40, Braintree & Bocking in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 25 metres north east of its junction with Sandwich Close, east for a distance of approximately 10 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5 February 2018 for 11 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install new gas connection is undertaken by Cadent Gas. The alternative route will be via Footpath 40, Braintree & Bocking, Sandwich Close footway, footpath leading east from Sandwich Close then north to meet Footpath 40, Braintree & Bocking and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5 February 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 600m northwest of its junction with Duck End for a distance of approximately 20m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154248887 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Duck End, The Causeway, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road, Great Sampford Road, Spains End Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 25th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Street, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 75m north of its junction with St Michaels Lane for a distance of approximately 10m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th February 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000010475755 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Fairfield Road, Victoria Street, South Street, St Michaels Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hillside Gardens, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hillside Gardens, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road to its end, a distance of approximately 345m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2238729 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Stephenson Road, Beadon Drive, Buckwoods Road, Notley Road, Rifle Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colemans Bridge, Witham & Colemans Bridge, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Colemans Bridge, Witham & Colemans Bridge, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from the junction with A12 to the junction with Colchester Road and from the junction with Little Braxted Lane to the junction with Colchester Road. The closures are scheduled to commence on 26th February 2018 for 5 nights (works to take place between 20:00 and 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (FN50637021 - Highways England). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Highways England.
