(Hornells Corner, Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hornells Corner, Little Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 20m east of its junction with Hornells Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034782613 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying electric cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Felsted Road, School Lane, Dumney Lane, Main Road, Moulsham Hall Lane, Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Three Mile Hill, Margaretting Northbound Only) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Three Mile Hill, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford from its junction with Three Mile Hill roundabout to its junction with Writtle Bypass roundabout, a distance of approximately 3239m.



2. To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit for the same length of road.



The speed limit reduction is due to commence on 29th January 2018 for 22 days, and the closure will be between 5th February and 10th February (between 21:30 and 05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10001850 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. These restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while concrete repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via London Road, Wood Street Roundabout, Princes Road, Princes Road Roundabout, Fortinbras Way, Van Diemans Road, Army And Navy Roundabout, Essex Yeomanry Way, Southend Road, North Roundabout, Gingerbreadhall Bridge Roundabout, Southbound Slip From Southend Road To Chelmsford Bypass, A12 J A130/ a1114 Join Sw, A130 New Bypass, Chelmsford Bypass, A12 Through J A130/a1114 Sw, A12 From J A130/a1114 To J B1007 Sw, A12 J B1007 Leave Sw, A12 Through J B1007 Sw, A12 J B1007 Join Sw, A12 From J B1007 To J A414/b1002 Sw, A12 Through J A414/ b1002 Sw, A12 J A414/b1002 Leave Sw, Westbound Slip From Chelmsford Bypass To Main Road, Whites Place Roundabout, Link Between Three Mile Hill Roundabout And Whites Place Roundabout, Three Mile Hill Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(White Elm Road, Bicknacre) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of White Elm Road, Bicknacre in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Bicknacre Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2018 for 6 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2241863 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while road marking works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via White Elm Road, Hyde Lane, Maldon Road, Southend Road, Oak Corner, Chelmsford Road, Maldon Road, Mayes Lane, Penny Royal Road, The Common, Bicknacre Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Lane, Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of Width Restriction) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Little Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Church Street for a distance of approximately 130m in a northwesterly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the 6'6" width restriction for Rectory Lane, Little Leighs from its junction with Littley Green Road to its junction with Church Lane as stated in 'The Borough of Chelmsford (Whites Lane and Rectory Lane, Little Leighs) (Width Restriction) Order 1989



The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st February 2018 for 59 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10001848 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while scour protection works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Rectory Lane, Whites Lane, Felsted Road, Littley Green Road, Church Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 25th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
