(Rectory Lane, Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of Width Restriction) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Little Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 130m in a northwesterly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the 6'6" width restriction for Rectory Lane, Little Leighs from its junction with Littley Green Road to its junction with Church Lane as stated in 'The Borough of Chelmsford (Whites Lane and Rectory Lane, Little Leighs) (Width Restriction)



Order 1989.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st February 2018 for 59 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10001848 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while scour protection works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Rectory Lane, Whites Lane, Felsted Road, Littley Green Road, Church Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 25th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pan Lane, East Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pan Lane, East Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Main Road to its junction with Old Church Road, a distance of approximately 1531m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2235790 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Main Road, East Hanningfield Road, Rettendon Road, Old Church Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 11th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Cranham Road, Little Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cranham Road, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Domsey Lane to its junction with Boreham Road, distance of approximately 1805m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd January 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231918A - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Cranham Road, Waltham Road, Boreham Road, Main Road, Goodmans Lane, Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout South, Great Leighs Bypass, Strawbrook Hill, Braintree Road, Sheepcotes Roundabout, Essex Regiment Way, Wheelers Farm Roundabout, Wheelers Hill and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 11th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Boreham Road, Great Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boreham Road, Great Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Leighs Road to its junction with Fuller Street, a distance of approximately 1600m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2238328 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace 2 gullys and patch works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Boreham Road, Main Road, Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout South, Great Leighs Bypass, Strawbrook Hill, Braintree Road, Sheepcotes Roundabout, Essex Regiment Way, Wheelers Farm Roundabout, Wheelers Hill, Cranham Road, Waltham Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 11th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hornells Corner, Little Leighs) (Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit in Hornells Corner, Little Leighs, in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 50m east of its junction with Hornells Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction. The speed reduction is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143010070 - Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water. The Order will come into effect on 11th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Waiting, Loading and Parking Consolidation) Order 2009" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 11th January 2018, exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Three Mile Hill, Margaretting in the City of Chelmsford from its junction with Three Mile Hill roundabout to its junction with Writtle Bypass roundabout, a distance of approximately 3239m.



2. To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit for the same length of road.



The speed limit reduction is due to commence on 29th January 2018 for 22 days, and the closure will be between 5th February and 10th February (between 21:30 and 05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10001850 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. These restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while concrete repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
