(Church Street, Gestingthorpe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Street, Gestingthorpe in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 500m south of its junction with Sudbury Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154136080 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while renewing fire hydrant works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Church Street, Sudbury Road, Lower Houses, Bulmer Street, Church Road, Bulmer Tye, Hedingham Road, Broad Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Oak Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 566m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th February 2018 for 47 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001793 - DA Cant Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway realignment works are undertaken by DA Cant Ltd. An alternative route is available via Oak Road, Letches Lane, White Horse Avenue, Mount Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
