Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council is seeking planning permission for Construction of a new 6FE secondary school (comprising part 2 storey and part 3 storey buildings), ancillary facilities, structures, hard and soft landscaping, widening of existing vehicular access, provision of new pedestrian access points and new vehicle and cycle parking facilities at Former Alderman Blaxhill Secondary School site, Paxman Avenue, Colchester, Essex CO2 9DQ - CC/COL/50/17

Consultation on this application is open until 24 November 2017. (Tilkey Road, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tilkey Road, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 42m north of its junction with Jaggards Road for a distance of approximately 18m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000644710 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Jaggards Road, Vane Lane, Church Street, Church Green, Colne Road, Gurton Road, Westfield Drive and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
