Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To revoke the Prohibition of Driving Order thus allowing motor vehicles to proceed on Byway 13 (Park End Lane), Shalford, in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 90 metres northwest of the road leading to Church End, Shalford, northwest, to its junction with the metalled part of the path adjacent to Hunts Farm, a distance of approximately 1560 metres. The Essex County Council (Byway 13, Park End Lane, Shalford) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1996 is hereby revoked. Highways Act 1980 - Sections 119 and 118 Public Path Orders 2017 Notice of Making of an Order Footpaths in the Parishes of Terling, Boreham & Hatfield Peverel in The City of Chelmsford & the District of Braintree

The above Orders made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public Footpaths in the Parishes of Terling, Boreham & Hatfield Peverel as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. Also to extinguish Footpath 15 Terling under section 118, as not needed for public use.

The effect of the Order will be to divert a part length of Footpath 11 Terling starting from grid reference 57466, 21542 on the south side of the River and running in a south easterly direction across the field then a southerly direction and then an easterly direction for a total distance of 394 metres to grid reference 57495,21542 where it connects to Footpath 35 Terling will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in a north easterly direction along the south side of the river bank for a distance of 335 metres to grid reference 57490,21519 where it connects to Footpath 35 Terling. A part length of Footpath 14 Terling starting from grid reference 57597,21514 and running in a north easterly direction across the field to grid reference 57608,21518 at the south east corner of the woodland known as Wades Spring, then running in an easterly direction to grid reference 57619.21518 before running in a northerly then north easterly direction for a total distance of 354 metres to grid reference 57609, 21521 where connects with Footpath 17 Terling to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in a north, north easterly direction along the east side of the field boundary, to grid reference 57605,21519 on the southern boundary of the woodland known as Wade's Spring, before following the boundary in a south easterly direction and running in a north easterly then north westerly direction around the eastern boundary of Wade's Spring, following the field edge as far as the northernmost corner of Wade's Spring at grid reference 57622,21530 before crossing the field boundary in a north easterly direction and following the northern boundary of the field and woodland running towards the River Ter to the footbridge over the River Ter where it connects with Footpath 17 after a total distance of approximately 501 metres. A part length of Footpath 17 Terling of undefined width and shown by a bold black continuous line on the Order Plan starting from grid reference 57621,21533 and running in a generally south south easterly direction then running in a south easterly direction for a total distance of approximately 250 metres to grid reference 57621,21524 will be diverted to a new route starting from the same above point and running in an easterly direction for a distance of 65 metres to grid reference 57627,21535 and continuing in a south, south easterly direction along an existing grass track for a distance of approximately 220 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 15 Terling starting from grid reference 57609,21501 where it connects to Footpath 16 Terling at the field corner and running in a south easterly direction along the edge of the field for a distance of 35 metres to grid reference 57612,21500 before it continues in a north easterly direction, across the field for a distance of distance of 195 metres to grid reference 57619,21518 where it connects with Footpath 14 Terling will be extinguished as not needed for public use as this becomes a dead end path. A part length of Footpath 4 Boreham commencing from grid reference 57540,21252 at a point just south of the field edge ditch, running in a generally north, north westerly and then north easterly direction across a field and then at the field boundary in a north westerly direction for a total distance of 480 metres to grid reference 57550,21294 at the north west corner of a pond before heading on the east side of the field boundary in a north westerly direction for a distance of 150 metres to grid reference 57542,21307 where is continues across a field in a northerly direction for a distance of 179 metres to grid reference 57540,21325 on the field boundary and at the parish boundary with Terling where it continues as Footpath 30 Terling will be diverted to a

new route commencing from grid reference 57566,21265 where it connects to Footpath 5 Boreham and Footpath 32 Terling to run in a north north westerly direction along an existing track, passing around the east then north side of a pond for a distance of 366 metres before proceeding in an westerly direction across to the west side of the field boundary then heading in a north westerly direction along the existing track for a distance of 292 metres to grid reference 57532,21316 before proceeding in a north easterly direction along the existing track for a distance of 121 metres to where it meets the parish boundary with Terling.

A part length of Footpath 18 Boreham commencing from grid reference 57606,21183 heading in first a north easterly then north, north westerly direction for 183 metres to reach the south western corner of Porters Wood to grid reference 57606,21197 where it continues through the woods in a generally northerly direction for a distance of 161 metres to grid reference 57608,21213 where it meets the parish boundary with Terling, and becomes Footpath 32 Terling continuing in a generally northerly direction through Porters Wood for a distance of 184 metres to the boundary of the woods to grid reference 57607,21230 where it continues across a field in a north, north westerly direction for 180 metres to the boundary of Toppinghoehall Wood at grid reference 57600,21247 where it continues in a north westerly and then north, north easterly direction through Toppinghoehall Wood to grid reference 57596,21265 will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above start point and running in a generally northerly direction for a distance of 143 metres to the south western corner of Porters Wood where it continues along the headland between a plantation and Porters Wood in an east, north easterly direction for a distance of 113 metres entering Porters Wood at grid reference 57614,21205 and heading in a north westerly direction through the woods for a distance of 100 metres along an existing ride before continuing through the woods in a north westerly direction for a distance of 200 metres before exiting the woods at grid reference 57594,21229 and heading west along the northern perimeter of Porters Wood for 45 metres to grid reference 57592,21229 before heading in a north westerly direction along a field margin for a distance of 100 metres to grid reference 57587,21238 on the western side of a pond before heading in a north easterly direction along a field margin for 114 metres to reach the south west corner of Toppinghoehall Wood at grid reference 57593,21248 before continuing around the western perimeter of the woods in first a north westerly then north easterly direction for a distance of 204 metres to where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 34 Hatfield Peverel starting from grid reference 57810,21170 north of the railway line and heading in a generally north westerly direction for a distance of 334 metres to grid reference 57782,21188 where it connects to the highway known as Terling Hall Road north of Berwick Farm will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in a south westerly direction along the field perimeter, on the north side of the railway line and then a north north westerly direction for a total distance of 455 metres to grid reference 57774,21149 where it connects to the highway known as Terling Hall Road to the south of Berwick Farm and opposite where Footpath 44 commences from the highway.

Any representation about or objection to an Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 12th October, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address in your contact information.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order.

Notice of Confirmation of an Order Footpaths in the Parish of Hatfield Peverel

The above Orders confirmed on 25th August 2017 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert Footpaths 1,2, 36 and 44 in the Parish of Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree.

A part length of Footpath 1 commencing from grid reference 578900,212062 on the south side of the ditch and running in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 255 metres to grid reference 578926,213234 where it connects to the private road known as Termitts Chase, then continuing as Footpath 2 Hatfield Peverel on this track in a general semi-circle around the farm premises for a distance of approximately 587 metres to grid reference 578926,213234 will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in an east north easterly direction along the southern side of the ditch on the southern boundary of Termitts Farm for a distance of 265 metres to grid reference 579032,213184 where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 36 commencing from grid reference 577244,211567 where the existing hardened track widens to a turning point and heading in a south easterly direction along the existing track towards the property known as Toppinghoe Hall for a total distance of 64 metres to grid reference 577282,211558 where it connects to Footpath 35 will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running in a southerly direction along an existing track along the east side of the field for a distance of 74 metres to grid reference 577246,211535 where it connects to Footpath 35.

A part length of Footpath 44 commencing from grid reference 57728,21156 where the path intersects with Footpaths 35 and 36, running in an east south easterly direction through the grounds of Toppinghoe Hall to the field boundary for a distance of 194 metres to grid reference 57745,21148 then continuing in an east south easterly direction across the adjoining field for a final distance of 66 metres to

grid reference 57751,21445 will be diverted to a new route commencing from grid reference 57724,21451 at the junction between the existing track and the existing Footpath 35 and running in a southerly direction on the existing track for a distance of 115 metres to the field boundary at grid reference 57726,21440 then in an easterly direction along the field edge for a further distance of 210 metres, then continuing in a north easterly then easterly direction following the field boundary on the south side for a distance of 64 metres to grid reference 57751,21449 where it continues in a southerly direction along the west field boundary for a final distance of 33 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

The new paths at Hatfield Peverel will come into effect on 29th September, 2017 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks of this Notice make an application to the High Court.

A copy of the Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices, Chelmsford City Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

(The Street, Great Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Great Saling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Picotts Lane to its junction with Bardfield Road, a distance of approximately 585m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231767 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Piccotts Lane, Mounts Farm Road, Hyde Lane, Bardfield Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Hulls Lane, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hulls Lane, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 310 m west of its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 30 m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th September 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153777995 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water maintenance and repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Pump Lane, Willows Road, Lombard Street, Petches Bridge, Finchingfield Road, Meadside, Silver Street, Braintree Road, Wethersfield Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Lombard Street, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lombard Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 215m from its junction with Willows Road, for a distance of approximately 250m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034774208 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Lombard Street, Petches Bridge, Wethersfield Road, Sculpins Lane, Daw Street, Mill Road, Whinbush Farm Road, Cross Hill, Willows Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
