(Byway 40, Greenstead Green and Byway 4, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Byway 40,
Greenstead Green and Byway 4, Coggeshall in the District of
Braintree, from its junction with Nuntys Lane, south east then south
west to its junction with Monkswood Lane, Coggeshall.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 29 August 2017 for 6 months
or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while
resurfacing are undertaken due to the deterioration of the byway
surface causing risk to public safety.
The alternative route will be via Nuntys Lane, Potash Farm Road, Monkswood Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29 August 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Southey Green, Sible Hedingham & Starlings Hill, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Southey Green, Sible Hedingham and Starlings Hill, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Horn Hill to the junction with Braintree Road, a distance of approximately 1633 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th September 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W026SEPEA3KJB61A -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair service works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Horn Hill, Innham Hill, Lamb Lane, Potter Street, Queen Street, Braintree Road, Halstead Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 25/08/2017
