(Noakes Farm Road, Terling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

(Noakes Farm Road, Terling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Noakes Farm Road, Terling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Terling Hall Road to its junction with Birds Farm Road, a distance of approximately 1266 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2229730 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Birds Farm Lane, Waltham Road, Cranham Road, Main Road, London Road, Terling Hall Road, Rolls Farm Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 6th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Blake End, Great Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Blake End, Great Saling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with B1256 Dunmow Road to a point approximately 32m north east.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

An alternative route is Blake End, B1256 Dunmow Road, and reverse.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20/07/2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Public Path Diversion Orders 2017
In The District of Braintree Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Notice of Confirmation of an Order Footpaths 1,11,12,13,18
and 38 Terling In The District of Braintree
The above Orders confirmed on 28th June, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public Footpaths in the Parish of Terling as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. A part length of Footpath 1 Terling starting from grid reference 57568,21658 at the north end of the pond on the north west edge of Hookley Wood and running in an easterly direction along the inner edge of the southern side of the parish boundary with Fairstead for a distance of 177 metres to grid reference 57584,21657 before it continues in an easterly direction, crossing the parish boundary with Fairstead, continuing as Footpath 1 Fairstead for a distance of for a distance of 33 metres will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in an easterly direction on the northern side of the parish boundary with Fairstead, north of Hookley Wood in the parish of Fairstead for a total distance of 99 metres to the above point where it continues unaffected.
A part length of Footpath 12 Terling starting from grid reference 57529,21559 running in a south south easterly direction across the field towards the river for 120 metres to grid reference 57534,21547 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a south easterly direction along the field boundary to the junction between two watercourses to grid reference 57536,21553 before crossing the existing track and heading in a southerly direction, following the field boundary on the west side of the watercourse and
finally a south westerly direction for a total distance of 172 metres to the final above point where it continues unaffected.
A part length of Footpath 11 Terling starting from grid reference 57557, 21495 where it connects with Footpath 13 and running in a north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 85 metres to grid reference 57551,21500 and then continuing in a west north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 133 metres to grid reference 57537,21504 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a north westerly direction in a straight line for a distance of 132 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.
A part length of Footpath 13 Terling starting from where it connects with Footpath 11 on the existing track at a point 130 metres from the eastern field boundary and running in a north easterly direction for a total distance of 263 metres to grid reference 57564,21520 where it connects to Footpath 12 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from where it connects with Footpath 11 and running in a north easterly direction along the field edge for a total distance of 307 metres to where it connects with Footpath 12 at grid reference 57553, 21530, south of the River Ter
A part length of Footpath 18 Terling starting from grid reference 57772,21495 at a point south east of the junction with Terling Place[Ls1] and running in an easterly direction across the field for a distance of 377 metres to meet the existing track at grid reference 57809,21501 where it continues unaffected for a distance of 18 metres to the field edge boundary at grid reference 57811, 21501 between the row of trees near the north field edge boundary, for a distance of approximately 120 metres to grid reference 57824,215017 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the road junction north of 'The Lodge' at grid reference 57770,21497 and running along an existing track in a generally easterly direction, through the northern end of the woodland, then a south easterly direction for a distance of 400 metres to where it meets the unaffected route and continues unaffected for a distance of 18 metres until it meets the path where it runs in a north easterly direction then an easterly direction for a distance of 34 metres to grid reference 57813,2103 then continues in a south easterly direction for a distance of 103 metres to where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 38 Terling starting from grid reference 57743,21355 at a point east of Terling Hall and running in a generally north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 810 metres to grid reference 57704,21423 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a north westerly direction for a distance of 178 metres to meet the existing track north of Terling Hall at grid reference 57760,21361 where it continues on the aforementioned existing track in a northerly then north westerly direction, continuing for a distance of 671 metres to grid reference 57696,21419 before turning and running in a north easterly direction for a distance of 83 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.
Footpath 12 Great Bardfield
The above Order confirmed on 23rd June, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert Footpath 12 in the Parish of Great Bardfield as shown on the Order map contained in this Order.
A part length of Footpath 12 Great Bardfield starting from a point south east of Yew Tree Cottage at grid reference 56732,23014 and running in a south westerly direction for 10 metres then south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 153 metres to the field boundary to grid reference 56743,23004 and then continuing in a south easterly direction across the next field and a 75 drainage ditch for a distance of 182 metres to grid reference 56755,22990 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a north easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 54 metres to grid reference 56737,23016 then continuing in a south south easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 130 metres Then continuing in a south south west direction along the field boundary for a distance of 84 metres to grid reference 56740,22996 and finally in a west south westerly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 156 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.
A copy of the above Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices, Causeway House, Braintree and at Chelmsford Public Library Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order or Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
The new Terling paths will come into effect on 28th July and Footpath 12 Great Bardfield on 21st July, 2017 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks of this Notice make an application to the High Court.
