Borough of Colchester Notice of the Making of an Order Footpath 4 Great Horkesley

The above Order, made on 9th June 2017, will divert public Footpath 4 in the parish of Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester. A part length of Footpath 4, Great Horkesley commencing from grid reference 59691,23190 north of the property known as Hillway on the southern edge of the arable field and running in a south south westerly direction across the garden to the west of the residence for a distance of 120 metres to grid reference 59687,23178 where it connects to the highway known as London Road, will be diverted to an alternative route commencing at the same above point and running in a south easterly direction along the field boundary to the east of the property known as Hillway for a distance of 125 metres to grid reference 59699,23180 where it connects to the highway known as London Road being 124 metres further east along the highway than the current path.

A copy of the above Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Town Library and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 20th July, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address with your response. If no such representations or objectio s are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order If an Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following length of Dale Close and Lucy Lane North, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester (the roads are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting):

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. (Colchester Road, Peldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from a point 15m north of its junction with The Strood for a distance approximately 57 m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03151422930/01 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Morrow Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Little Bromley Road to its junction with Waterhouse Lane, a distance of approximately 1082 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2229933 - Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Kimberley Road for a distance of approximately 45 m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd August 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000010457724 -Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Damants Farm Lane, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Thorpe Road to its junction with Walton Road, a distance of approximately 1176 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2230230 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Clacton Road, Great Holland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clacton Road, Great Holland in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Little Clacton for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on

3rd September 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W00000IBJM7DHM1 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing damaged pole works are undertaken by BT.

(Plough Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring from outside St Marys Farm entrance for a distance of approximately 20 m in both directions. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM53723578 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Holly Bush Hill, Dial Road, Clacton Road, Church Road, Station Road, Great Bentley Road, Thorrington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 6th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chapel Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 200m south of its junction with Green Lane to a point approximately 230 m south of its junction with Green Lane, a distance approximately 30m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th August 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034771096 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Chapel Lane, Green Lane, Wivenhoe Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 22nd June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Way, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, the Left hand turn on Station road towards train station north entrance, a distance of approximately 24 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit

(Margaret Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Margaret Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 135m south of its junction with Serpentine Walk to a point approximately 125 m East of its junction with Mercers Way, a distance of approximately 28 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2017 for 29 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153454871 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
