Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Orders 2017 In The District Of Braintree Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Notice of Confirmation of an Order Footpaths 22, 26 And 30 Terling

The above Orders confirmed on 5th May, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public Footpaths in the Parish of Terling as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. A part length of Footpath 22 Terling starting from grid reference 57605,21450 where it connects to Footpath 23 Terling running in a southerly direction for a distance of 61 metres to grid reference 57597,21441 then continuing in a south westerly direction north of the ponds then in a westerly direction towards the field boundary for a further distance of approximately 251 metres to grid reference 57601,21443 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a south westerly direction along the existing field boundary for a total distance of 275 metres to the aforementioned above point where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 26 Terling starting from grid reference 5763,21464 where it connects to the highway and proceeding in a southerly direction across the field for a total distance of approximately 568 metres to where it connects with Footpath 29 at grid reference 57637,21409 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from grid reference 57614,21455 where it connects to Footpath 22 Terling and running in a south then south easterly direction along the field boundary continuing around the boundary of the woodland known as Craigments Spring for a total distance of 615 metres to grid reference 57632,21407 where it connects to Footpath 28 Terling being 54 metres further to the south west than the current path. A part length of Footpath 30 Terling starting from grid reference 57589,21411 on Sparrows Hall Lane and running in a south westerly direction between the buildings of Rolls Farm then continuing south of the ponds then in a south easterly direction along the existing track for a total distance of 496 metres to grid reference 57564,21377 at Ringers Wood will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from grid reference 57600,21398 on Sparrows Hall Lane opposite where Footpath 28 commences and running in a south westerly direction along the field boundary on the southern side of the hedge then through the hedge to the northern side of the hedge via the existing track for a total distance of 420 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A further part length of Footpath 30 Terling starting from grid reference 57540,21325 on the parish boundary with Boreham and running in a north north easterly direction across the field for a total distance of 327 metres to the south west corner of Ringers Wood at grid reference 57551,2135 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a north easterly direction along an existing track then along the field boundary to grid reference 57563,21349 at a point south of Ringers Wood, then continuing in a west north westerly direction following the boundary of Ringers Wood to where it continues unaffected. The new paths will come into effect on 1st June, 2017 except for Footpath 30 north which comes into effect on 3rd July, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 18th May, 2017 make an application to the High Court.

Notice of Making of an Order Footpaths 1,11,12,13,18 And 38 Terling


The above Orders made on 5th May, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public footpaths in the Parish of Terling as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. A part length of Footpath 1 Terling starting from grid reference 57568,21658 at the north end of the pond on the north west edge of Hookley Wood and running in an easterly direction along the inner edge of the southern side of the parish boundary with Fairstead for a distance of 177 metres to grid reference 57584,21657 before it continues in an easterly direction, crossing the parish boundary with Fairstead, continuing as Footpath 1 Fairstead for a distance of for a distance of 33 metres will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in an easterly direction on the northern side of the parish boundary with Fairstead, north of Hookley Wood in the parish of Fairstead for a total distance of 99 metres to the above point where it continues unaffected, A part length of Footpath 12 Terling starting from grid reference 57529,21559 running in a south south easterly direction across the field towards the river for 120 metres to grid reference 57534,21547 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a south easterly direction along the field boundary to the junction between two watercourses to grid reference 57536,21553 before crossing the existing track and heading in a southerly direction, following the field boundary on the west side of the watercourse and finally a south westerly direction for a total distance of 172 metres to the final above point where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 11 Terling starting from grid reference 57557, 21495 where it connects with Footpath 13 and running in a north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 85 metres to grid reference 57551,21500 and then continuing in a west north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 133 metres to grid reference 57537,21504 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a north westerly direction in a straight line for a distance of 132 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 13 Terling starting from where it connects with Footpath 11 on the existing track at a point 130 metres from the eastern field boundary and running in a north easterly direction for a total distance of 263 metres to grid reference 57564,21520 where it connects to Footpath 12 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from where it connects with Footpath 11 and running in a north easterly direction along the field edge for a total distance of 307 metres to where it connects with Footpath 12 at grid reference 57553,21530, south of the River Ter. A part length of Footpath 18 Terling starting from grid reference 57772,21495 at a point south east of the junction with Terling Place[Ls1] and running in an easterly direction across the field for a distance of 377 metres to meet the existing track at grid reference 57809,21501 where it continues unaffected for a distance of 18 metres to the field edge boundary at grid reference 57811,21501 between the row of trees near the north field edge boundary, for a distance of approximately 120 metres to grid reference 57824,215017 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the road junction north of 'The Lodge' at grid reference 57770,21497 and running along an existing track in a generally easterly direction, through the northern end of the woodland, then a south easterly direction for a distance of 400 metres to where it meets the unaffected route and continues unaffected for a distance of 18 metres until it meets the path where it runs in a north easterly direction then an easterly direction for a distance of 34 metres to grid reference 57813,2103 then continues in a south easterly direction for a distance of 103 metres to where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 38 Terling starting from grid reference 57743,21355 at a point east of Terling Hall and running in a generally north westerly direction across the field for a distance of 810 metres to grid reference 57704,21423 will be diverted to an alternative route commencing from the same above point and running in a north westerly direction for a distance of 178 metres to meet the existing track north of Terling Hall at grid reference 57760,21361 where it continues on the aforementioned existing track in a northerly then north westerly direction, continuing for a distance of 671 metres to grid reference 57696,21419 before turning and running in a north easterly direction for a distance of 83 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

Notice of Making of Orders Footpaths 12 And 25 Great Bardfield


The above Orders made on 12th May, 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public footpaths in the Parish of Great Bardfield as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders. A part length of Footpath 12 Great Bardfield starting from a point south east of Yew Tree Cottage at grid reference 56732,23014 and running in a south westerly direction for 10 metres then south easterly direction across the field for a distance of 153 metres to the field boundary to grid reference 56743,23004 and then continuing in a south easterly direction across the next field and a 75 drainage ditch for a distance of 182 metres to grid reference 56755,22990 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a north easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 54 metres to grid reference 56737,23016 then continuing in a south south easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 130 metres Then continuing in a south south west direction along the field boundary for a distance of 84 metres to grid reference 56740,22996 and finally in a west south westerly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 156 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 25 Great Bardfield starting from a point just west of the highway known as Daw Street at grid reference 56937,23093 and running in a south westerly direction for 94 metres to the ditch at grid reference 56928,23090 and then continuing in a westerly direction across the next field for a distance of 246 metres to at grid reference 56905,23090 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a north north easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 32 metres to grid reference 56936,23096.then continuing in a generally south easterly direction along the field boundary on the south side of the River pant for a distance of 100 metres. Then continuing in a generally north westerly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 86 metres to grid reference 56923,23095.and then in a west north westerly direction then in a southerly direction around the field boundary for a distance of 107 metres to grid reference 56915,23090 and finally in a west south westerly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 110 metres to the same above oint where it continues unaffected.

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 -Section 257 Footpath 22 Gosfield


The above Order made on 18th May, 2017, will divert a part length of public Footpath 22 in the parish of Gosfield. Braintree District Council have granted Planning permission at Gosfield Lake Park Homes to construct new homes which necessitates the re-routing of the footpath. A part length of Footpath 22 Gosfield commencing from where it connects to Park Hall Road at grid reference 57765,22924 and running in a south-easterly direction across the access road to Gosfield lake Park Homes for a distance of 99 metres to grid reference 57774,22921 where it connects with Footpath 15 Gosfield will be diverted to a new route commencing from where it connects to Park Hall Road at grid reference 57767,22926 and running in a south easterly direction along the access drive and then through a gap in the fencing and in a north­easterly direction via wooden steps up the bank, for a distance of 33 metres to grid reference 57770,22927 where it connects to the aforementioned Footpath 15 Gosfield.

Any representation about or objection to an Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 22nd June, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address in your contact information. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. A copy of the Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to install a Toucan Crossing on the following length of London Road, Great Notley/Black Notley in the District of Braintree as follows:
Road Description
London Road, The centre line of the proposed Toucan crossing is Great Notley/ to be located approximately 49 metres north east Black Notley of its junction with Cut Hedge.

Notice is hereby given
Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order
1. To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree Station Road- i) South west side from a point opposite the Kelvedon boundary line of numbers 8 & 9 Station Road north west for 20.2 metres ii) North east side from a point opposite the south east facing boundary line of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace north west for 74.0 metres Church Green- i) North west side from a point level with the north Coggeshall west corner of number 2 Church Green for a distance of 38.9 metres south west ii) South east side from a point level with the north west corner of number 2 Church Green for a distance of 36.5 metres south west

2. To revoke No Waiting No Waiting Mon-Fri 10am-11am on the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree
Station Road- i) South west side from a point 20.2 metres north Kelvedon west from the boundaries on numbers 8 & 9
Station Road for a distance of 10.4 metres north west
ii) North east side 60.3 metres north west from a point opposite the south east facing boundary line of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace for a distance of 13.7 metres north west

3. To introduce Permit Holders Only (Zone 30) on the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree. Numbers 1-9 Rosslyn Terrace will be entitled to apply for one resident permit and unlimited visitor permits. Kelvedon Car Service Centre and Van Trade Direct will be able to apply for one permit and unlimited visitor permits. Full details of current permit prices can be obtained from the North Essex Parking Partnership. Station Road- i) South west side from a point 5.2 metres south Kelvedon east from the south east facing boundary wall of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace 36.2 metres north west
ii) South west side from a point 20.2 metres north west from the boundaries of numbers 8 & 9 Rosslyn Terrace for a distance of 15.4 metres north west

4. To revoke No Waiting At Any Time on the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree Station Road-
i) South west side from a point level with the Kelvedon south east facing boundary line of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace 5.2 metres south east
