Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the orders:
1. To introduce a one way restriction on Wantz Road, in the Town
Wantz Chase, NORTH SIDE: From the westernmost boundary Maldon of property No.3, eastwards for a distance of
approximately 68 metres.
Wantz Road, WEST SIDE:
Maldon i. From a point 15 metres south of its junction
with Tenterfield Road, south to a point 15 metres north of its junction with Wantz Chase; a distance of approximately 101 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 14 metres south of its junction with America Street, southwards to a point approximately 7 metres north of the northern extended kerbline of Barrell Close; a distance of approximately 91 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 10 metres south of the southern extended kerbline of Barrell Close, southwards to a point approximately 18 metres north of Wantz Road's junction with Queen Street, a distance of approximately
46 metres.
EAST SIDE:
i. From southern extended kerb line of Tenterfield Road, southwards to a point approximately 15 metres north of the northern extended kerbline of Wantz Chase; a distance of approximately 115 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 15 metres south of its junction with Wantz Chase, southwards to a point approximately 26 metres north of its junction with Dyers Road; a distance of approximately 157 metres.
No's. 1 to 9, 11, 13 to 18, 20 to 46, 47 to 55 (odd), 58 to 71, 72A, 72B, 72C, 74 to 88, 90 to 94, 96 to 116 (even) of Wantz Road, No's. 1 to 21 (odd) of Wantz Chase, No's 1 to 14 and Suncot of America Street residents eligible to apply for a permit. Important information relating to resident permit parking.
1. The current cost of a permit is £53.70 per year. Residents over 65 are eligible for one free permit per household.
2. Visitor tickets currently cost 29p per two hour stay. Residents over 65 the cost is 10p per two hour stay.
3. If the property does not have any off-street parking facility the Qualifying Resident will be eligible to apply for a maximum of two Parking Permits (provided there are sufficient on-street parking spaces available).
4. If the property has one off-street parking facility, the Qualifying Resident will be eligible to apply for one Parking Permit (provided there are sufficient on-street parking spaces available).
5. If the property has two or more off-street parking facilities, the Qualifying Resident will not be eligible to apply for a Parking Permit.
All existing waiting and parking restrictions on the entire length of America Street, Dyers Road, Wantz Chase and the following length of Wantz Road from it junction with the High Street in a southerly direction, to a point approximately 20 metres south of the extended southern kerbline of Queen Street, in the District of Maldon will be revoked. The Zebra Crossings are to remain in place on Wantz Road.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council
(Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)
(Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile number TL850 065
revision 2 to revision 3, TL850 067 revision 3 to revision 4.

(St Marys Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Marys Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon from a point approximately 50 m East of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 19 m in an Easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000592495 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Marsh Road, Glendale Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

America Street, NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 3 metres Maldon west of the most westerly boundary of property No.1,
westward for a distance of approximately 5.5 metres.
3. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of roads, in the Town of Maldon in the District of Maldon:
Road Description
America Street, NORTH SIDE: From its junction with Wantz Road, Maldon westwards for a distance of approximately 84 metres.
SOUTH SIDE: From its junction with Wantz Road, westwards for a distance of approximately 80 metres. SOUTH WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 105 metres from its junction with Wantz Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 4.6 metres i.e. the distance fronting its junction with entrance to PROW No. 35. Dyers Road, NORTH SIDE: From its junction with Wantz Road, Maldon north-eastwards for approximately 4 metres.
Wantz Chase, NORTH SIDE:
Maldon i. From its junction with Wantz Road, eastwards

5. To introduce 'Resident Permit Holders Only Zone 3, at all times' restrictions on the following length of roads, in the Town of Maldon in the District of Maldon:

America Street, SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately 80 Maldon metres west of its junction with Wantz Road,
westwards to its junction with PROW No.35; a distance of approximately 25 metres. NORTH SIDE:
From a point approximately 84 metres west of its junction with Wantz Road, north-westwards for a distance of approximately 7 metres. From a point approximately 8 metres west of the most westerly boundary of property No.1, north-westwards then southwards to its junction with PROW No.35; a distance of approximately 34 metres around the north-west kerbline. ISLAND SIDE: Adjacent to the side of the island lying at its west-end; a distance of approximately 45 metres around the perimeter of the island.
