Public Path Order In The City Of Chelmsford Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Sections 119 Footpath 48 Great Waltham

An Order confirmed on 20th February, 2017 will divert Footpath 48 in the parish of Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The new route will be 2 metres wide. Footpath 48 Great Waltham from where it connects at the junction with Bridleway 49 and Footpath 86 and running in a northerly direction along the track and then in a generally north westerly direction on the southern side of the Mill Race for a distance 160 metres to the sluice gate and the weir is to be diverted to an alternative route starting from the same above point and running in a generally westerly direction, on the southern side and parallel to the tributary of the River Chelmer and then in a generally northerly direction for a total distance of 212 metres to the aforementioned above point where it continues unaffected.

The Order will come into effect on 21 st April, 2017. However, if any person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court.

SECTION 25 PUBLIC FOOTPATH CREATION

By Agreement under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 between Essex County Council and Mr B. Mather, a new public footpath has been created at Mill House in Mill Lane in the parish of Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford.

The new public footpath will be 2 metres in width commencing from grid reference 56845,21733 where it connects with Footpath 48 Great Waltham, and running in a generally north easterly direction to grid reference 56847,21734 north of the floodgate and then continuing in a westerly direction for a total distance of 23 metres to grid reference 56846,21734 where it re-connects to Footpath 48 Great Waltham.

A copy of the above Agreement, Order and the Plans have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford City Council Offices, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford CM1 1JE and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. (Church Road, East Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, East Hanningfield in the Chelmsford District (B), from its junction with Middlemead to its junction with Southend Road for a distance approximately 2285m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CA789W00000IBK11TMY - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new cable for customers works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Middlemead, South Hanningfield Road, Main Road, Southend Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 17th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spring Elms Lane, Little Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Elms Lane, Little Baddow in the Chelmsford District, from Elm Bank to the entrance of High Bushes a distance of approximately 90 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th June 2017 for 12 days, or where

stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005MU1WSEP00IBPD9DHR01 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Spring Elms Lane, North Hill, Tofts Chase, Bassetts Lane, Crossways Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 5th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Noakes Avenue, Great Baddow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Noakes Avenue, Great Baddow in the Chelmsford District, from a point 270m east of junction with Dorset Ave for a distance approximately 75 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th May 2017 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034765638 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical service works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Dorset Avenue, Rothmans Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Boreham Road, Great and Little Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boreham Road, Great and Little Leighs in the Chelmsford District (B), from its junction with Drakes Lane to its junction with Noakes Lane for a distance approximately 455 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CB1W0000000EA2TJN73 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works works are undertaken by BT.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pertwee Drive, Great Baddow in the Chelmsford District (B), from outside number 32 for a distance approximately 24m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034764805 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
