Order 2014 Schedule 3 On-Street Permit Parking Order

Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 3rd April 2017.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice Schedule Existing New

(Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 14) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To replace the following length of 'Resident Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat 12.30pm-1.45pm Permit A2 Holders Only' restrictions and replace with 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on Oaks Drive in the Borough of Colchester as specified: Road Description

Oaks Drive, WEST SIDE: from a point approximately 64.6 metres Colchester north of its junction with Lexden Road northwards for a distance of approximately 7.2 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 by substituting tile numbers TL985 250 revision 1 to revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 17 April 2017.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 15) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To introduce 'No Loading at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Barrack Street in the Borough of Colchester as specified:

Road Description

Barrack Street, SOUTH SIDE:
Colchester i. From a point approximately 5 metres west of its junction with Cannon Street, east for a distance of approximately 21 metres, ii. From a point approximately 13 metres west of its junction with Artillery Street, east for a distance of approximately 27 metres.
2. To revoke the existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Cannon Street and Artillery Street in the Borough of Colchester as specified:

a distance of approximately 6.7 metres. Artillery Street, EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres Colchester south of its junction with Barrack Street, south for

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 by substituting tile numbers TM005 245 revision 1 to revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 19 March 2017.

(Pallister Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pallister Road, Clacton on Sea in the Tendring District, from its junction with Orwell Road to its junction with Beach Road for a distance of approximately 70 m.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time in the said length of road.
Tile number TN175 145 of the Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Parking & Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 shall be temporarily varied to suspend the limited waiting Mon - Sat 9am - 6pm 2 hours no return 4hours
southside from a point 10m west of the western kerbline of Beach Road, for a distance of approximately 40m. No waiting 9 am - 6 pm North side from a point approximately 14.5m east from its junction with Orwell Road, East for a distance of approximately 36.5m.
The Order may continue in force for up to 18 months unless extended by the Secretary of State.
An alternative route is available via Orwell Road, Marine Parade East, Beach Road and vice versa.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Holland Road, Little Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holland Road, Little Clacton in the Tendring District, from 430m West of its junction with Tan Lane for a distance approximately 80 m in a Westerley direction.. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2017 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP02231000998 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks. org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer works works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street North, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street North, West Mersea in the Colchester District (B), from Colchester Road to Upland Road for a distance approximately 64 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th May 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000572385 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lay new service works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution.
An alternative route is available via Mill Road, Queens Corner, Upland Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Maldon Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, Colchester in the Colchester District (B), from Maldon Road roundabout to Burlington Road for a distance approximately 32m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD035WAT-06524MS5 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installing a water main, works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Beaconsfield Avenue, Butt Road, Southway Westbound, Maldon Road Roundabout and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd April 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Lane, Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, Tendring in the Tendring District, from its junction with Clacton Road to Oak House for a distance approximately 71 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th May 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CC11W000000IBPM8EKD - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while provide a new pole and extend the over head cables works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Chapel Lane, Parsonage Lane, Clacton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(New Park Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Park Street, Colchester in the Colchester District (B), from its junction with Artillery Street to its junction with Port Lane for a distance approximately of 27m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034764418 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Port Lane, Artillery Street, New Park Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 9th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(New Park Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Park Street, Colchester in the Colchester District (B), from it's Junction with Port Lane for a distance approximately 30 metres in a Westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD030000010381341 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Works for a New Water Connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Port Lane, Artillery Street, New Park Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
