(Footpath 7 (Hill House Footcrossing) Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: to temporarily close Footpath 7 (Hill House Footcrossing), Feering, in the District of Braintree, for a distance of approximately 20 metres either side of the crossing. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th January 2017 to 30th January 2017 between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 also 18th February 2017 to 23rd February 2017 between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while essential core renewal works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 28th January 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are finished, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Lane, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, in the Parish of Rivenhall in the District of Braintree from its junction with Rickstones Road, south east to its junction with Forest Road.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 6 February 2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while highway patching is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Rickstones Road, Forest Road, and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during

the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 6 February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified: Road Description Alternative route Bramble Road, From its junction with Flora Road for its entire length NO diversion Witham to end of carriageway - a distance of approximately







712 metres

Bentley Road, From its junction with Bramble Road for its entire NO diversion Witham length to end of carriageway - a distance of



approximately 56 metres Pennyroyal From its junction with Bramble Road for its entire NO diversion Crescent, length to its junction with Bramble Road - a distance



Witham of approximately 289 metres



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (permitted parking area and special parking area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18 month period from 6th February 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Phase One

Preparatory works for carriageway resurfacing. Phase Two

Machine surfacing - the existing surface will be removed and a new surface laid.

North Essex Parking Partnership

(Station Road, Kelvedon) Temporary Traffic Restrictions

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Station Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2017

Effects of the order: To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in the lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring. Road Description



Station Road, South west side, from a point opposite the boundary line of numbers 8 & 9 Kelvedon Rosslyn Terrace north east for 20.2 metres



North east side From a point opposite the boundary line of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace north west for 74 metres

The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting restrictions detailed in this Notice.

The Order came into operation on 23rd January 2017 and may continue in force for up to

18 months or until it is made permanent
