(Various Roads, Braintree District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree:




Road

Albert Road, Braintree

Description

WEST SIDE:

From a point 15 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road, In a southerly direction for a distance of 23 metres. From a point approximately 97.3 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

From a point 149.1 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 59 metres. EAST SIDE:

From a point 15 metres north of its junction with Manor Street, in a northerly direction, for a distance of approximately 63 metres. From a point 58 metres south of its junction with Coggeshall Road, In a southerly direction, for a distance of 24 metres.

There will be an exemption to the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions to allow vehicles involved in footway reconstruction, kerb renewal other associated works to wait at any time on the above length of road.

Tile number TL760 230 & TL760 232 of 'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008' shall be temporarily varied to suspend the Resident Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat 7am-9pm Zone 10 and include the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions as above. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23 January 2017 to 31 March 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway reconstruction and kerb renewal works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

North Essex Parking Partnership

(Station Road, Kelvedon) Temporary Traffic Restrictions

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 intends to make the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Essex County Council (Station Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2017

Effects of the Order: To introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in the lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring.

Road Description



Station Road, South west side, from a point opposite the boundary line of Kelvedon numbers 8 & 9 Rosslyn Terrace north east for 20.2 metres North east side, from a point opposite the boundary line of number 1 Rosslyn Terrace north west for 74 metres

The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting restrictions detailed in this Notice.

The Order will come into operation on 23rd January 2017 and may continue In force for up to 18 months or until it is made permanent

Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex

The Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification No. 622 (Footpath 99 Felsted, Uttlesford District) Order 2016

The above Order made on 14 December 2016, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-

1. Deleting a length of footpath 99 Felsted, from Evelyn Road, running south-eastwards alongside, and within, the western boundaries of Red Oaks and Mace Dell, and crossing the southern boundary of the latter property to meet the unaffected section of footpath 99.



2. Adding a length of footpath 99 Felsted from Evelyn Road, running south-eastwards alongside, and within, the eastern boundary of the recreation ground, crossing the south-eastern boundary of the recreation ground to meet the unaffected section of footpath 99.



A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Uttlesford District Council, Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER, and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, where copies will be available on request at a charge.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH, to arrive not later than 23 February 2017 and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18 month period from 9 January 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Phase 1 - preparatory works for carriageway resurfacing

Phase 2 - Machine surfacing - the existing surface will be removed and a new surface laid

(Mill Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Hill, in the District of Braintree from its junction with Rose Hill east to its junction with B1018 Millennium Way.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2017 20:00 to 22:30 22nd January 2017 for 3 days and 2 nights or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of permanent traffic pole and street furniture is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Lakes Road, Manor Street, Trinovantian Way, Railway Street, Rose Hill and vice versa.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order will come into effect on 20th January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Albert Road, Braintree) (Temporary Suspension & Introduction of Waiting Restriction) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the existing Resident Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat 7am-9pm Zone 10 restrictions and introduce No Waiting at Any Time on the following lengths of Albert Road, Braintree:
