(Mill Lane, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council Intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, in the Parish of Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree from its junction with Colne Park Road, west to its junction with Church Street. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16 January 2017 for two days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling to restore BT customer service is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Church Street, Green Farm Road, Overhall Hill, Countess Cross, Lawshalls Hill, Colne Park Road, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 16 January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Farms Lane, Castle Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Farms Lane, in the Parish of Castle Hedingham, in the District of Braintree from its junction with Kirby Hall Road, south east for approximately 250 metres to Hewsons Farm.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16 January 2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while patching works are undertaken.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 16 January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nightingale Hall Road/Newhouse Rd (Dungeon Bridge), Greenstead Green & Halstead Rural) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Further to notices under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which commenced on 29th November 2016 and 20th December 2016.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily closing Nightingale Hall Road/
Newhouse Road (Dungeon Bridge), Greenstead Green & Halstead
Rural/Earls Colne, in the District of Braintree, from a point
approximately 60 metres southeast of Dungeon Bridge, to a point 30
metres northwest of Dungeon Bridge.
The Essex County Council (various Roads, Earls Colne) (Weight
Restriction) Order 1999 shall be temporarily suspended insofar as it
relates to Curds Road and Newhouse Road only.
The closure is scheduled to commence 10th January 2017 for up to
18 months or where appropriate signs are showing and weather
permitting, and is required for the safety of the public due to the
damage to the underside arch of Dungeon Bridge.
The alternative route will be via Nightingale Hall Road/Newhouse
Road - Curds Road - B1024 Coggeshall Road - A1124 - Parley
Beams Road - Nightingale Hall Road/Newhouse Road and vice versa.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the
closure.
The Order will come into effect on 10th January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Oak Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Oak Road,
in the Parish of Halstead in the District of Braintree from a point
approximately 160 metres from the junction with Letches Lane for
a distance of approximately 135 metres west.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2017 for one
day or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while
tree cutting around overhead power lines is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Letches Lane, Greenstead Green,
White Horse Avenue, Three Gates Close and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 11 th January 2017 and may
continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
