LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley and Lewisham (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 214) Order 2022. (Beckenham Hill Road, Beckenham Place Park, Braeside, Calverley Close, Dura Den Close, Overbrae and Southend Road, Beckenham)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 11th January 2022 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers, and those lengths of road that lie within the London Borough of Lewisham, pursuant to agreement under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with the councils of the said Boroughs, in accordance with Regulation 7 of the Local Authorities (Arrangements for the Discharge of Functions)(England) Regulations 2012, and with the consent of Lewisham Council, which will come into operation on 19th January 2022.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

during normal office hours on
Mondays to Fridays, until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.
ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is
not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any
relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which
the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
SCHEDULE:-
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:-
BECKENHAM HILL ROAD, the south east side, from its junction with Southend Road to a point 7m north east of the north eastern boundary of 'Warner House'
BECKENHAM PLACE PARK, (a) the north side, from the eastern kerb line of Beckenham Place Park to a point 31.5m east of the common boundary of 'The Park' and No. 49 Beckenham Place Park; (b) the south side, (i) from a point 10m west of the common boundary of No. 1 Southwater Close and 'Charalyn' westwards for a distance of 25.5 m, (ii) from a point 61 m west of the common boundary of No. 1 Southwater Close and 'Charalyn' westwards for a distance of 20.4m; (iii) from a point 90.9m west of the common boundary of No. 1 Southwater Close and 'Charalyn' westwards for a distance of 26m.
BRAESIDE, (a) the north east side, (i) from a point 1.7m south east of the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 14 Braeside to a point 8.6m north west of the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Braeside; (ii) from the north western kerb line of Southend Road to a point 18.9m south east of the common boundary of No. 2 Braeside and No. 67 Southend Road; (b) the south west side, from the north western kerb line of Southend Road north westwards for a distance of 15.3m; the pedestrian island site which lies at the junction of Braeside and Overbrae, (a) the west side, its whole length; (b) the south east side, from the south western kerb line of that pedestrian island to a point 6m north-east of the common boundary of No. 27 Braeside and No. 15 Overbrae; (c) the north east side, from the north eastern kerb line of that pedestrian island to a point 11.8m south east of the common boundary of Nos. 25 Braeside and No. 20 Overbrae.
CALVERLEY CLOSE, the north west to south east arm, both sides, from the south eastern kerb line of Southend Road south eastwards for a distance of 10m.
DURA DEN CLOSE, both sides, from the northern kerb line of Beckenham Place Park northwards for a distance of 9.5m.
OVERBRAE, the pedestrian island which lies at the junction of Braeside and Overbrae, (a) the south east side, from the north eastern kerb line of that pedestrian island to a point 10m south west of the common boundary of No. 15 Overbrae and No. 27 Braeside; (b) the north west side, from the south eastern kerb line of that pedestrian island to a point 0.8m north west of the common boundary of No. 20 Overbrae and No. 25 Braeside.
SOUTHEND ROAD, (a) the north west side, (i) from the south western boundary of No. 61 Southend Road to its junction with Braeside; (ii) from a point 16.9m north east of the common boundary of Nos. 43 and 45 Southend Road north eastward for a distance of 46m; (b) the south east side, (i) from a point 3.8m north east of the common boundary of No. 43 and 45 Southend Road north eastwards for a distance of 59.1 m.
