(Chaucer Crescent, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close that length of Chaucer Crescent, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with Kipling Way for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly then easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd February 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010621522/1 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Browning Road, Challis Lane, Masefield Road and vice versa with access into Chaucer Crescent).
The Order will come into effect on 13th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(London Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with King William Roundabout to its junction with Queenborough Lane a distance of approximately 355m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th January 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2307558 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via King William Roundabout, Notley Cross, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout At Business Park, Garden Village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, Cuckoo Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road, London Road Roundabout North and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Notley Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close that length of Notley Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 10m south of its junction with Godlings Way for a distance of approximately 12m (including bridge span) to its junction with St Johns Avenue. The closure is scheduled to continue from 2nd January 2022, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002624 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works on Hoppit bridge are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Notley Road, South Street, St Michaels Road, High Street, London Road, Roseval Roundabout, Link Under Braintree Bypass, King William Roundabout, Notley Cross, Garden Village Way, Bridge End Lane, Garden Village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, London Road Roundabout, Great Notley Avenue, Bakers Lane, Buck Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 2nd January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
