(Footpath 59, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

(Footpath 59, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 01 December 2021. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 59, Felsted in the District of UtrJesford, from its northern junction with Footpath 60 Felsted, to the footbridge at Felsted Mill (a distance of approximately 168m).
The closure is scheduled to commence on 06 November 2021 to 01 December 2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while necessary revetment works to the bank of River Chelmer due to erosion are undertaken.
(Boars Tye Road/Lanham Green, Cressing) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Restriction) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction in that length of Boars Tye Road/Lanham Green, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Lanham Green Road for a distance of approximately 1435m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2306390A - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 11 th November 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bardfield Road, Bardfield Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bardfield Road, Bardfield Saling in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 158m north west of the junction with Hyde Lane for a distance of approximately 180m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30029577067 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Bardfield Road, The Street, Blake End, Dunmow Road, Stebbing Green, Stebbing Road, Warehouse Road, Watch House Road, High Street, The Downs, Brick Kiln Lane, Pulford Place, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Oxen End, Vine Street, Brook Street, Mill Road, Braintree Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Guithavon Valley, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Guithavon Valley, Witham in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Collingwood Road to the junction with Armond Road a distance of approximately 70m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005590 -James Curry Arborisf). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by James Curry Arborist. An alternative route is available via Collingwood Road, Newland Road, Mill Lane, Guithavon Valley and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Tinkers Green Road for a distance of approximately 320m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC9KND4G -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Spains Hall Road, Tinkers Green Road, Hall Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
