(Church Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Church Green to its junction with Leigh Drive a distance of approximately 120m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th September 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2318411 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while SWAS investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Blacksmiths Lane, The Street, Maypole Road, Langford Road, Langford Road Roundabout, Maldon Road, Witham Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Creeksea Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Creeksea Lane, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Ferry Road a distance of approximately 605m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th September 2021 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WC9P921P001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Ferry Road, Maldon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Office Lane, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Office Lane, Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 385m south east of its junction with Plains Road for a distance of approximately 120m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30022307815 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Office Lane, Plains Road, The Street, School Road, The Green, Park Wood Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Strawberry Lane, Tolleshunt Knights) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Strawberry Lane, Tolleshunt Knights in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 100m west of its junction with D'Arcy Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th September 2021 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP0107403-19/T5228/CF/EU - Gas Transportation Co Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Gas Transportation Co Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Strawberry Lane, Tudwick Road, Factory Hill, Brook Road, D'arcy Road.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.8) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of roads in the District of Maldon, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 2nd September 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Tolleshunt Major in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Goldhanger Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC9C428L002 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Beckingham Road, Maldon Road, Goldhanger Road and vice versa.

(Goat Lodge Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Goat Lodge Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 385m south west of its junction with Mountains Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31 st August 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30078201904 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead to underground supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Goat Lodge Lane, Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Road, Walden House Road, Goat Lodge Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 19th August 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.5) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
