Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sudbury Road, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Great Maplestead Road for a distance of approximately 230m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st August 2021 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010643621 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Sudbury Road, Sudbury Hill, St James Street, Queen Street, Station Road, Swan Street, Potter Street, Halstead Road, Halstead Road - A1124, Hedingham Road, Market Hill, Head Street, Park Road, Catley Cross, Long Gardens, Sudbury Road - Bulmer Tye - A131, Bulmer Tye, Broad Road, Moat Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via North Road, Leather Lane, Little Yeldham Road, School Road, Church Green, Mashey Road, Belchamp Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Great Maplestead Road, Castle Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Great Maplestead Road, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from both of its junctions with Sudbury Road for a distance of approximately 105m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWCGT855V001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover renewal works are undertaken by Openreach.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited. An alternative route is available via Priors Green, Madgements Road, Lordsland Lane, Rectory Road, The Street, Back Lane, Greenstead Green Road, Tumblers Green and vice versa.
