(Various Roads (Land East of Sudbury Road), Halstead) (20mph Zone) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph zone on the following lengths of roads (Land East of Sudbury Road), Halstead in the District of Braintree:
Road Description
Clark Field From its junction with Hall Chase for its entire remaining length including any side roads or turning heads.
French Close From its junction with Reynolds Drive for its entire remaining length including any turning heads.
Hall Chase From its junction with Winston Way for its entire length remaining including any side roads or turning heads.
Lee Close From its junction with Reynolds Drive for its entire remaining length including any turning heads.
Reed Meadow From its junction with Hall Chase for its entire remaining length including any side roads or turning heads.
Reynolds Drive From its junction with Hall Chase and Winston Way for its entire remaining length including any side roads or turning heads.
Smith Gardens From its junction with Reynolds Drive for its entire remaining length including any turning heads.
Steed Croft From its junction with Hall Chase for its entire remaining length including any turning heads.
Tylneys Road From a point approximately 83.3 metres northeast of its junction with Churchill Avenue to its junction with Reynolds Drive.
Winston Way  From a point approximately 32.3 metres north east of the north eastern  kerb line of Churchill Avenue, north east to its junction with Hall Chase and Reynolds Drive, inclusive of full length of Winston Way cul-de-sac.
Wright Grove From its junction with Hall Chase for its entire remaining length including any side roads or turning heads.

Date of operation:
The Order will come into operation on 11 June 2021.

Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(School Road, Little Maplestead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Maplestead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Sudbury Road to its junction with Oak Road a distance of approximately 660m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st July 2021 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2311541 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Oak Road, Deans Hall Road, Sudbury Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 10th June 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wethersfield Road, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wethersfield Road, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 255m south west of its junction with Prayors Hill for a distance of approximately 225m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th June 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03158808009 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber renewal works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Wethersfield Road, Prayors Hill, Rectory Road, Swan Street, Potter Street, Queen Street, Braintree Road, Hedingham Road, The Street, Gosfield Road, High Garrett, Broad Road Roundabout, Broad Road, Church Lane, Church Lane Roundabout, Deanery Hill, Panfield Road, Water Lane, Church End, High Street, Hudsons Hill, Almshouse Green and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 10th June 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Back Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 355m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2021 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT021 -E-HHGABE - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited. An alternative route is available via The Street, Back Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hulls Mill Lane, Sible Hedingham/Great Maplestead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hulls Mill Lane, Sible Hedingham/ Great Maplestead in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 455m north east of the junction with Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 440m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th June 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30040063981 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Hulls Mill Lane, Halstead Road, Halstead Road -A1124, Dynes Hall Road, Church Street, Purls Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lanham Green Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Lanham Green Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Lanham Green to its junction with Lanham Farm Road a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th June 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143439511 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Withies Green, Lanham Green Road, Hollies Road, Links Road, Boars Tye Road, Lanham Green and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Russells Road, Greenstead Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Russells Road, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 1115m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2021 for 13 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT012-E-SYHA - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.
An alternative route is available via Halstead Road - Zc5002, The Street, Braintree Road, Gosfield Road, Halstead Road, Pennypot Comer, Boumebridge Hill, Russells Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.12) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 27th May 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
The Order came into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
