(Back Lane, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its {unction with Maypole Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th April 2021 for 2 days (followed by 21 st April for 3 days, 26tti April for 2 days and finally 8th May for 2 days), or as stated on a valid permit (BC008WC3JGD3S27/28/29/& 30 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Back Lane, Maypole Road, School Road, Grange Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 25th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Steeple Road, Maldon Road, Jeagor Farm, Gospel Corner, Chapel Corner, The Street, Batts Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 25th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
