Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council is seeking planning from the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for demolition within a Conservation Area for Demolition of former school buildings and construction of new boundary treatment at Former Edith Borthwick School, Church Street, Bocking, Braintree CM7 5LA - CC/BTE/05/21 Former Edith Borthwick School is situated within and adjacent to Bocking Church Street Conservation Area.
The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Braintree District Local Plan Review July 2005 and the Braintree District Core Strategy Local Development Document September 2011 in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.

(Western Road, Silver End) (Restricted Road) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 81,82(1) & (2), 83(2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To implement the Restricted Road (30mph by virtue of street lighting) status on Western Road, Silver End in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 200 metres east of its junction with the centre line of Western Close, in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 83.6 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 29th January 2021.

(Lawn Lane, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lawn Lane, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Orford Crescent to its junction with Waveny Drive, a distance of approximately 215m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2021 for 9 nights (20:00 - 06:00 only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2288134 - Essex County Council). (Robinhood End, Toppesfield/Finchingfield Road -Howe Street to Dyer's End - ZC161, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Robinhood End, ToppesfieldV Finchingfield Road - Howe Street to Dyer's End - ZC161, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 70m southeast of the junction with Thurstons Farm Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010618017/01 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Little London Hill, Cornish Hall End, Stamboume Road, Cornish Hall End Road, Chapel End Way, Mill Road, Church Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 4th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.3) & Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads and those in schedule 2 for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 4th February 2021, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of Bridge Street/ Newland Street, Witham from the junction with Spinks Lane to the junction with Maldon Road as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Bridge Street and Newlands Street, Witham) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2009.
