(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 4) Order 2020


Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 Has Made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: 1. To introduce and revoke restrictions in the Braintree District as follows: to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on Chipping Dell, Church Hill and Galleys Corner, Braintree Road; to revoke No waiting and replace with ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on The Street and Bellingham Place; to revoke No waiting and replace with ‘No Waiting Mon-Fri 11.30am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-3.30pm’ on The Paddocks; to introduce ‘Resident Permit Parking Only K4’ on Bellingham Place; to revoke unrestricted parking bays and introduce ‘Resident Permit Parking Only RR1’ on Rayne Road; to introduce ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 2 hours No Return Within 4 hours’ on Galleys Corner, Braintree Road. 2. To amend Schedule 3 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2020 to append the items set out in Schedule 1 of this notice. 3. To amend Schedule 5 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2020 to append the items set out in Schedule 2 of this notice. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL745 230 to rev 1, TL775 217 to rev 1, TL790 117 to rev 1, TL815 155 to rev 1, TL820 147 to rev 1, TL860 190 to rev 1, TL860 285 to rev 1 and TL860 287 to rev 1. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 06/06/2020. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 60, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rayne Road to its just with the private access road west of Springfield Drive, a distance of approximately 411 metres. Alternative route will be via Footpath 67, Braintree and Bocking, Footpath 91, Braintree and Bocking, Footpath 60, Braintree and Bocking and vice versa. The closure commenced on 29/06/2019 and is required for the safety of the public due to construction works being undertaken. (Segregated Footway/Cycleway at Malyon Close, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Segregated Footway/Cycleway at Malyon Close in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Malyon Close to its junction with B1256 Rayne Road. The closure is scheduled to commence on the 22/06/2020 to 28/06/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to install a new gas connection is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Malyon Close, Chadwick Drive, B1256 Rayne Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22/06/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Curds Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Curds Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 570m northwest of its junction with Coggeshall Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 07/07/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01456804670 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundary box installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Hayhouse Road, Park Lane, Church Hill, Upper Holt Street, Coggeshall Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Deanery Hill, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Deanery Hill, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Churchill Road a distance of approximately 340m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 07/07/2020 for 4 nights, (20:00 - 05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2275835 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Howe Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Little London Hill to its junction with Spains Hall Road, a distance of approximately 670m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/07/2020 for 6 nights (20:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2272147 – Essex County Council). (South Street, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Railway Street to its junction with Station Approach a distance of approximately 315m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 08/07/2020 for 4 nights, (20:00 - 05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2278031 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Station Approach, Station Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Witham Road, Cressing) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit in that length of Witham Road, Cressing, in the District of Braintree from a point approximately 710m southeast of its junction with Polecat Road for a distance of approximately 1600m in a south easterly direction. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 03/07/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2297714/ EP201EH2297768 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and gully works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 25/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Barrack Lane, Great Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrack Lane, Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Glebe Meadow to its junction with Brook Mead a distance of approximately 25m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/06/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143357672 – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service renewal works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via The Village, South Street, Cherry Garden Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 11/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Duck Street, Little Easton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Duck Street, Little Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 75m southeast of its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a southeasterly then easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/06/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000938885 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Broxted Road, Stanbrook Road, Park Street, Mill End, Dunmow Road and vice versa.
