Notice of Variation given under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of On-Street Parking Permit Charges in the Braintree District Area (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019 Schedule 4 Permit and Ticket Parking Charges Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 20th April 2020.
Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 20th April 2020.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits-all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice
4. To temporarily suspend the 7.5tonne weight limit in that length of Newland Street, Witham from its junction with Bridge Street and Mill Lane, north east to its junction with Maldon Road a distance of approximately 382m as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Bridge Street & Newlands Street, Witham) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2009.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 02/04/2020, exact dates will be specified on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce and revoke restrictions in the Braintree District as follows: to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' on Chipping Dell, Church Hill and Galleys Corner, Braintree Road; to revoke No waiting and replace with 'No Waiting At Any Time' on The Street and Bellingham Place; to revoke No waiting and replace with 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 11.30am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-3.30pm' on The Paddocks; to introduce 'Resident Permit Parking Only K4' on Bellingham Place; to revoke unrestricted parking bays and introduce 'Resident Permit Parking Only RR1' on Rayne Road; to introduce 'Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 2 hours No Return Within 4 hours' on Galleys Corner, Braintree Road.

2. To amend Schedule 3 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition

of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2020 to append the items set out in Schedule 1 of this notice.
3. To amend Schedule 5 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition

of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2020 to append the items set out in Schedule 2 of this notice. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL745 230 to rev 1, TL775 217 to rev 1, TL790 117 to rev 1, TL815 155 to rev 1, TL820 147 to rev 1, TL860 190 to rev 1, TL860 285 to rev 1 and TL860 287 to rev 1.

(London Road & The Street, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce 30mph speed limit in that length of London Road & The Street in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Marina Road to its junction with Terling Hall Road for a distance of approximately 1465m. The speed limit is scheduled to commence on 27/04/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005BC005KN1W00HTFLDPVEL-ES2 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
The Order came into effect on 19/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree from its junction with Bulford Lane for a distance of approximately 380m in a southeasterly direction. The speed limit is scheduled to continue from 19/03/2020 for 126 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004187 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce during a new residential development. The Order came into effect on 19/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1 To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule to this Order

2 A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30/40mph speed limit in the lengths of road in the schedule.
