The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30/40mph Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30/40mph speed limit in the lengths of road in the schedule. "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'NoWaiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th February 2020, exact dates will be specified on

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hythe Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m northeast of its junction with Hawkins Road for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in Hythe Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, the whole width of the carriageway from a point 25m east of its junction with Hawkins Road eastwards for a distance of 58m as detailed in "The Colchester Borough (Various Roads, Colchester) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 2000 and all amendments to that Order for the duration of the closure.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-53-54-100220 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Salisbury Road, Holland On Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Turpins Avenue to to its junction with Kings Avenue, a distance of approximately 250m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/02/20 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282114 - Essex County Council). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Road, Mount Bures in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 40m east of its junction with Craigs Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a distance of approximately 65m north west of its junction with Kiln Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction.
