(Chapel Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 20m south of its junction with Witney Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13/01/20 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0143356494 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Station Road, Western Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 02/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Beckingham Street, Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beckingham Street, Little Totham in the District of Maldon from its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 35m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/01/20 for 16 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153053115-Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Beckingham Street, Mill Lane, Tolleshunt D'arcy Road, Beckingham Road, Church Street, South Street, North Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D'arcy Road, Factory Hill, Church Road, Maldon Road, Loamy Hill Road, The Street, School Road, The Green and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
