(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.3) Order 20** Zebra Crossing - B1018 Cressing Road, Witham Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To revoke 'No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm on entrance markings' on the following lengths of B1018 Cressing Road, Witham in the District of Braintree: 1) SOUTH WEST SIDE: From a point in line with the boundary between No.107 and 109, north west for approximately 37.56 metres. 2) NORTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 70.12 metres north west of the south eastern boundary of no. 62, north west for approximately 31.56 metres.
The 'No Stopping except buses' restriction on the SOUTHWEST SIDE of B1018 Cressing Road, from a point approximately 2.4 metres north west from the south eastern property boundary of No. 97, north west for approximately 32.3 metres will be removed. 'No Stopping except buses' will be introduced on the following lengths of B1018 Cressing Road: 1) south west side, from a point 12.8 metres north west of the north western kerb line of Cross Road, north west for approximately 18.8 metres. 2) NORTH EAST SIDE: from a point 58.5 metres north west of the north western kerb line of Cross Road, north west for approximately 23.3 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile number TL815 157, TL815 160 revision 0 to revision 1.
Notice is also hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on B1018 Cressing Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, the centre line of the crossing will be located approximately 104.4 metres north west of the centre line junction with Cross Road. Zig zags associated with the Zebra Crossing are proposed to be installed on the following lengths of B1018 Cressing Road, Witham in the District of Braintree: 1) BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 107.4 metres North West of the centre line junction with Cross Road, north-westwards for approximately 17 metres. 2) BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 101.4 metres North West of the centre line junction with Cross Road, south eastwards for approximately 17 metres.

(Braintree Green, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braintree Green, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 230m southeast of its junction with Gore Road for a distance of approximately 165m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th January 2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034830425 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Gore Road, The Street, Rayne Road, Springwood Roundabout, Springwood Drive, Pods Brook Road, Panners Roundabout, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout Springwood Link, Garden Village Way Roundabout at Business Park and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley in the district of Braintree, from a point approximately 45m north east of its junction with Fambridge Chase for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2020 for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (KL735BRA-21-12-290120 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track correction works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Church Hill, The Street, Faulkbourne Road, Flora Road, Powers Hall End, Chipping Hill, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, Witham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Boarded Barns Road, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boarded Barns Road, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Shalford Green for a distance of approximately 500m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2020 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5002/CCESSB1/A0078M - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Bardfield Road, Hyde Lane, Victoria Hill, Shalford Road, Shalford Green and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th January 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.5) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'NoWaiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 02/01/20, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband The Order came into effect on 02/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bakers Lane, Black Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bakers Lane, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Church Road, a distance of approximately 1735m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th January 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2287201 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gully replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bakers Lane, Buck Hill, Buck Farm Road, Notley Road, Godlings Way, London Road, Roseval Roundabout, Link Under Braintree Bypass, King William Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 02/01/20 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
