(Bridge Street, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Bridge Street, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Market End for a distance of approximately 40m in a Southerly direction.



2. To temporarily suspend the Oneway in that length of Bridge Street, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree from its junction with The Gravel to its junction with Market End as detailed in 'The County Council of Essex (Bridge Street, and The Gravel, Coggeshall) (One Way Traffic) Order 1971' for the duration of



the closure.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/10/19 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034822396 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Market End, East Street, Coggeshall road, A120, A12, London Road, Feering Hall, Station Roads, Coggeshall Road, Kelvedohn Road, Grange Hill, Bridge Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
