(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.7) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence on 13/09/19, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
The Order will come into effect on 13/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.82) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To revoke the following length of'No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am
and 2.30pm-4pm' restriction to allow for 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' bay to be installed
on the south side of Courtauld Close, Halstead in the District of Braintree: from a point
approximately 15 metres south east of its junction with Parsonage Street, in a south
easterly direction for a distance of approximately 5.2 metres
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District)
(Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by
substituting tile number TL815 302 revision 2 to revision 3.

(Colne Road, Pebmarsh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road, Pebmarsh in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Byndes Corner for a distance of approximately 1535m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/09/19 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2281790-EH2281792 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and iron work replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Byndes Corner, Pebmarsh Road, Sudbury Road, Head Street, Colchester Road, Fenn Road, Brook Street, Halstead Road, Buntings Green Road, Goldingtons Farm Road, Church Street, Colne Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 30/08/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bures Road, White Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bures Road, White Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 245m from its junction with Cately Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/09/19 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010548497 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Colneford Hill, Lower Holt Street, Upper Holt Street, Church Hill, High Street, Halstead Road, Stonebridge Hill, Parley Beams, Head Street, Sudbury Road, Pebmarsh Road, Byndes Corner, Levitts Corner, Clay Hills, The Street, Cross End, Bures Road, Peyton Hall Road, Hornes Green Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 10/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stambourne Road, Great Yeldham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 200m northwest of its junction with Ridgewell Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23/09/19 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W000000EA4CUE01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Ridgewell Road, Mill Road, Drury Lane, Stambourne Road, Wesley End Road, Church Road, Great Yeldham Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13/09/19 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Water Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Milles Lane to its junction with A120, a distance of approximately 565m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/08/2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252416-Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail and fencing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Milles Lane, Coggeshall Road, A120 and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 30/08/2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
