Another good racing day on Saturday, for the 10 members of the Maldon & District Pigeon Club's race from Ripon, Yorkshire. 133 birds were liberated into a light north west wind at 7.45am. Winning for the third week running were Steve and Sam Wallis, having four arrive together at 11.30am, taking 3 hours 45 minutes. The winner which has now three Firsts, has not been out of the top six all season and also won the £40 nomination prize
