Braintree Town head to Weston-super-Mare on Saturday looking for goals.

The Iron have failed to find the net in more than five hours of football in Blue Square South.

Record signing Leon Archer is set to return for the trip to Woodspring Park after being ineligible for the draw with former club St Albans City.

But Robbie Martin is still suspended and skipper Bradley Quinton is injured.

Manager George Borg said: "It's a testing time for us and we need all the support we can get from them."

Braintree played out their third goal-less draw in the space of five matches against St Albans at Cressing Road on Bank Holiday Monday.

They were frustrated by bottom club St Albans, who are yet to win in the Blue Square South this season having been relegated from the Blue Square Premier division last term.

The Iron missed the firepower of Archer and although the visitors showed little invention, they kept the home side on their toes throughout and came closest to scoring when Lee Clarke's lob came back off the bar.

Braintree lacked penetration and although striker Chris Sullivan had several attempts on goal, none of them forced the City goalkeeper to make a meaningful save.
