COLNE Valley Golf Club's ladies' Silver team travelled to Frinton and picked up a nail-biting victory, with Cynthia Hollingsworth putting out a last-gasp winner on the 18th green.
Hollingsworth's win, combined with successes for Sue Drysdale and Pearl Powell, gave a 3-2 victory to Colne Valley.
Wendy Cook and Amanda Rollings, the other team members, also played memorable matches, but Frinton gained the upper hand against them.
Karen Charles, the team captain, thanked the caddies for their wonderful support and the Silver team have now played two matches, with one loss and one win.
