THERE has been a double triumph for Felsted School’s hockey teams as their under-15 girls are through to the Independent Schools Hockey Cup national semi-finals and the under-16 boys are Essex champions.
Felsted's under-15 girls played a strong game in the quarter-finals of the Independent Schools Hockey Cup, beating Alleyn’s School 5-1 to book their place in the last four.
Under-15 girls’ captain, Minty Latham said: “The team spirit and determination was incredible.
"Everyone put in 100 per cent and played really well as a team.”
Meanwhile, Felsted's under-16 boys won the Essex Hockey Tournament.
They conceded no goals across their four games, beating Chigwell 3-0, Coopers 12-0, Forest 3-0 and Bancroft 5-0 to secure their place in the East regional round.
