JAMES Bosher rewrote his own and Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners' record books when he took part in the Berlin Marathon.

He finished in two hours 47 minutes three seconds to beat his previous personal best time by more than ten minutes and set a new club record.

Meanwhile in Scotland, Gillian Robertson completed the Loch Ness Marathon in 4h 18m 59s, with Mark Smith finishing in 4h 58m 5s.

Closer to home, Grange Farm members competed in the Dunmow Triathlon.

The event comprised a 300 metre swim, a 23km cycle ride and a 5km run, with Nick Perry fastest for the club in 1h 21m 44s.
