SILVER End Bowls Club's Ray Everitt has claimed the North West Essex open singles title for a fifth time.
He took his latest success in the finals at Saffron Walden with a 21-18 victory against Kevin Moore from Radwinter.
There was also success for Silver end in the Pairs final as Ryan Mann and Adrian Papple came from behind to win 23-15 against Martin Spencer and Graham Easterbrook from Braintree.
Adrian Papple also won the Champion of Champions Singles with a walkover against Luke Banks, who was unfortunately taken ill.
However, there was no final joy for Silver End when the club travelled to Romford to play Wanstead Central in the County Shield.
