THE phenomenal year being enjoyed by BMX siblings Bethany and Luke Shriever continued with the climax of the British Series as they both finished the season with titles in their respective age groups.

The brother and sister from Finchingfield have enjoyed successes all over the world this year and kept their runs going as the British BMX Series reached its conclusion in Derby.

Bethany had already wrapped up the British Championship Women's title ahead of the final two rounds of the season, but she showed her dominance by completing another victory to make it seven wins out of the 12 rounds this year.

It was a title that capped an amazing season that has been Beth's first full season back after a number of injuries which took her off the bike for 18 months.

She has now won both the National Series and the British Championships, as well as taking time trial silver at the World Championships in Colombia, where she also made the women's final.

Beth has been selected by British cycling to compete in America at the last two World Cups and will be travelling to America again later this month.

Luke, meanwhile, has also had a great year and has won every title there is on the circuit in his age group.

He is the reigning World under-13s champion, European champion and British and national series champions.

In the UK he has been racing up an age group in the 14s but he still managed to win with a victory in the final round of the year wrapping up the British Series title.
